PlayStation Plus Free Games April 2020

These have certainly been some crazy times, recently. Many of us, depending on where we live, may be stuck at home in lockdown. If you find yourself running out of things to play, here is the next line-up of PlayStation Plus free games April 2020 available for download on April 7.

First, there’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, the sequel to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and the first of the series to be officially released on the PlayStation 4. In this third-person action adventure, Drake is swayed by his estranged brother to seek out the lost treasure of pirate Henry Avery.

The second is Dirt Rally 2.0, a racing game and the thirteenth title in the Colin McRae Rally series. Select from fifty different vehicles and compete in the World Rallycross Championship across tarmac and off-road terrain, while racing through various weather conditions.

Both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Dirt Rally 2.0 have Platinum trophies to unlock.

If you’ve played previous games in the Uncharted series, then you’ll know what to expect for getting the Platinum in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. You’ll need to find collectibles, get kill-shot trophies, and complete the game on Crushing mode. Overall, fairly average in terms of time and difficulty.

As for Dirt Rally 2.0, the majority of the trophies are quite easy to unlock. However, there are a few that will certainly test your patience, especially for those new to the Rally series. Expect to put a fair amount of time into this own. Also, completionists should take note that the game has 21 DLC trophies, to which the DLC is not included in the free package.

We, at Trophy Hunter, hope you all stay healthy and stay safe.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a third-person action adventure, and an expanded standalone to the 2016 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, featuring the character Chloe Frazer as the protagonist. Like other games in the series, players use firearms and melee combat to take down enemies, perform stealth moves, engage in platforming, and solve puzzles.

Fortune hunter Chloe Frazer begins her adventure in India, searching for the legendary tusk of Ganesh. She soon teams up with mercenary Nadine Ross as they embark on a quest to find the same legendary tusk that Chloe's father searched for and died trying.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy received positive reviews with an average score of 85%, and received several nominations for Best Game by numerous online magazines, for its graphics, presentation, combat, and overall fun, though criticized for possessing too much similarity to Uncharted 4.

If you've played any of the previous Uncharted games, then you'll have a good idea of what's involved for the Platinum. Like the other titles in the series, you'll need to complete a Crushing mode playthrough, find numerous collectibles, fulfill some kill-related challenges, and unlock a few other miscellaneous trophies. A Chapter Select is available for mopping up what you're missing. Also, once the game is completed, a number of modifiers such as infinite ammo and weapon select are available, which makes a second playthrough on Crushing mode easier than on previous Uncharted installments.

Expect roughly 15-20 hours for the Platinum, depending on skills and how many playthroughs are performed.

Unlike many previous games in the Uncharted series, Crushing Mode is available from the start. So if you wish to avoid two playthroughs, and you're confident in your skills, you can get this out of the way from the very beginning.

However, be warned that playing on Crushing mode with make unlocking numerous trophies along the way quite challenging. Also, by playing and completing the game on any mode, you will unlock modifiers such as weapon select and infinite ammo, which would later make your Crushing mode playthrough much easier.

As you play, you'll want to be on the lookout for the 68 treasures you'll need to collect for the Collector Of Antiquities trophy. Check out the collectible locations guides and walkthroughs under our Links tab for help with these. You'll also need to find and unlock all 21 lockboxes for the Picks Or It Didn't Happen trophy, take a photo of all 28 photo opportunities for the Pics Or It Didn't Happen trophy, find all 11 Hoysala tokens for the Yas Queen trophy, listen to all 17 optional conversations for the Getting To Know You trophy. If you miss anything, don't fret. You can always use the Chapter Select after your first playthrough to collect whatever you still need. The only exception is related to the Yas Queen trophy, as some collectibles will be inaccessible until you've recovered all 11 Hoysala tokens.

Also, there are several kill-related trophies to work on, and some miscellaneous chapter-specific trophies which you can attempt to unlock during your first playthrough. Check out the Uncharted The Lost Legacy trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. Again, if you miss them, you can always go back and use the Chapter Select.

There is one trophy which is technically missable. In order to unlock The Way Of The Warrior trophy, you'll need to reach the outskirts of Halebidu in Chapter 5 without using any firearms or explosives. This means you cannot use guns or explosives in the previous four chapters, up until you pass through the large doors into Chapter 5. This will be difficult to do if your first playthrough is on Crushing mode, but easy on Explorer. If you accidentally fire a weapon or throw a grenade, than quickly exit the game and reload to the last check point.

If you've completed the game on a difficult mode under Crushing, then your next step is to play through on Crushing mode. Remember, you can now use modifiers to help you. This is also a good chance to unlock any weapon kill-related trophies, or anything else you're still missing.

Once all that's finished, simply use the Chapter Select to mop up anything you're still missing. Check out the Uncharted The Lost Legacy trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need, and their requirements.

Enjoy!

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is a third-person action adventure, and the final game in the series to feature Nathan Drake. Like previous titles in the series, the game features platforming elements such as jumping, climbing and swimming, puzzles to solve, as well as duck-and-cover shooting to take out enemies, with a stronger emphasis on stealth. The game also includes an online multiplayer mode.

Fifteen years have passed since Nathan Drake has retired and settled down with his wife Elena, despite missing the adventures. Though after being visited by his brother Sam Drake who proposes going after the treasure of pirate Henry Avery, Nathan sets off on another treasure hunt.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was a critical success with an average score of 93%, praised for its incredible visuals, story and dialogue, added features, and overall fun gameplay.

If you've played any of the previous games in the Uncharted series, then you'll no what to expect in terms of difficulty and time required. The trophies are essentially the same, requiring a playthrough on Crushing mode, as well as finding collectibles and getting a certain number of kills with particular weapons. There is however, a speed-run trophy added to the mix. There are 5 online trophies which are easy to unlock and don't require boosting.

Expect roughly 30-40 hours of gameplay for the Platinum, depending on the number of playthroughs you do. NOTE: The retail version, if played unpatched, includes a cheat which grants infinite ammo after having completed the game. This cheat does not work on the digital downloaded version, or the retail version after it has been patched.

If you're in a rush for that Platinum, then you can jump into Crushing mode and start your first playthrough that way, since it is available from the beginning. However, if you are playing an unpatched retail version and plan on using the infinite ammo cheat, then you may wish to first clear the game on Easy or Normal, then a second on Crushing to make things easier.

Either way, there are a total of 193 collectibles to find, in the form of 109 treasures, 25 journal entries, 23 notes, and 36 optional conversations. If you wish to get these out of the way, then follow one of the collectibles guides under our Links tab. There is a chapter select after completing the game, so don't fret if you miss anything.

Also, there are some chapter-specific story-related trophies, which need to be done in chapters 4, 8, 9, 10, 11 (x4), 12 (x2), 13, 14, 17, 22, and the Epilogue. Check out the Uncharted 4 trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. Again, if you miss these, you can always go back via the chapter select.

After that, there are two more playthrough trophies which include completing the game in 6 hours or less for the Charted! - Speedrun trophy, and completing the game with over 70% shot accuracy for the Sharpshooter trophy. It's up to you if you wish to do both of these in one playthrough, or separate the two. Keep in mind that the cutscenes are included during the 6 hours speedrun, so they will need to be skipped.

Then, use the chapter select to mop up any remaining offline trophies you may still be missing. Again, check out the Uncharted 4 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and their requirements.

Finally, there are 5 online trophies to unlock. These don't need boosting, as they simply require playing 5 matches in multiplayer, completing the trials on moderate difficulty, as well as spawning sidekicks and reviving allies.

Enjoy!

Horizon Zero Dawn Platinum Trophy May Include Reward

Obtaining the Platinum Trophy in Horizon Zero Dawn may provide more than a sense of accomplishment or bragging rights to some players.

Sony Interactive Entertainment, the publishers behind Guerrilla Games‘ open-world action RPG Horizon Zero Dawn, is rewarding players who unlock the Platinum Trophy with an exclusive avatar for their PSN Profile. Players must also be subscribed to the PlayStation Newsletter where Sony congratulates the user for obtaining the Platinum and sends out the redeem code for the avatar.

This is in fact the second time Sony congratulated players with a gift for Horizon Zero Dawn, the first being an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme. Previous titles in which players were rewarded in the PlayStation Newsletter included Bloodborne and Uncharted 4.

The avatar reward is random, so not all players achieving the Platinum Trophy in Horizon Zero Dawn will receive a reedem code.
