Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade is a third-person sci-fi action game with some puzzles, platforming, and RPG elements, developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The combat focuses on understanding the enemy’s attack patterns, and using precise timing to successfully parry or dodge attacks, while using a variety of fighting combos. The game also includes customization of the player-character, including various upgrades and outfits.

In the far future, humanity has been forced to evacuate Earth and live in the Colony in orbit, after it has been taken over by monstrous creatures known as the Naytibas. In an effort to retake the planet, Eve joins her squad and head to Earth to fight the Naytibas. After the squad faces disaster, Eve is rescued by a scavenger named Adam and takes her to the last surviving human city named Xion. Eve continues on her mission to save humanity and take back Earth from the Naytibas.

Stellar Blade received positive reviews with an average score of 82%, praised for its impressive visuals, unique soundtrack, and battle mechanics, though criticized by some for its characters and story. It has also received some controversy among Western critics who accuse the game of “oversexualizing” the main character.

There are no difficulty-related trophies, and so the game can be played on Easy mode. While this is still no cakewalk, and a few boss battles may require a couple replays, completing the game is certainly doable for any average gamer. However, the platinum does require a minimum of two playthroughs, and there are plenty of collectibles to search for. Overall, this is a fairly average platinum in terms of difficulty with a little time required.

Expect roughly around 60 hours of gameplay for this platinum.

The game has no difficulty-related trophies, so feel free to play on Storymode (easy). This is still no cakewalk, and will continue to be a fun challenge to the gameplay.

There are three trophies for each of the three different endings. Two of these endings require a full playthrough with all side-quests completed, and most collectibles found. However, a save can be made before the final boss which, after completing the first ending, can be reloaded to get the second. The third ending can be a speed-run.

More specifically, the first two endings require a 100% trust by the character Lily. By finding collectibles and doing side-quests, this percentage gradually increases. The third ending requires less than 100% trust, which means avoid finding collectibles and side-quests. The good news is, Shift Up has added a New Game+ with two extra trophies. This means that doing a speed-run for the third ending on New Game+ will also knock out these two extra trophies.

The three ending-related trophies and their requirements are as follows:

The Return To The Colony trophy requires 100% trust with Lily, and select “Do NOT take the hand” at the ending’s option.

The Making New Memories trophy also requires 100% trust with Lily, and select “Take the hand” at the ending’s option.

Finally, the Cost Of Lost Memories trophy you to have LESS than 100%, and select “Take the hand” at the ending’s option.

Lastly, in order to get one ending, then reload and get the second ending, the Auto-Sync Saved Data on your PS5 must be switched off. To do this, go to Settings, then Saved Data and Game/App Settings, then Saved Data (PS5), then Sync Saved Data, then Auto-Sync Saved Data (Enabled), then scroll down to Stellar Blade and toggle the switch off. This will allow you to make a save before the final boss, get the first ending, then reload your save to get the second ending. Otherwise, you will have to do another 100% completion playthrough.

Now, when going for the 100% completion playthrough in order to unlock the first two endings, it should be noted that there are two points of no return. The first is when you are given the option to visit the Orbital Elevator. After this event, you will no longer be able to visit the Xion location. The second point of no return is when you are given the option to “follow the bike signal and leave.” This is because you are about the complete the game, and therefore all other areas will be inaccessible.

With all that in mind, the strategy we recommend is first going through the 100% completion playthrough and get the two endings, then play on New Game+ and speedrun to get the third ending.

Begin by playing up until the first point of no return (before choosing to visit the Orbital Elevator – which will lock you out of Xion). This means completing all the side-quests, and finding all the cans and other collectibles in Xion. If done correctly and you have gotten 100% trust from Lily, she will request first heading to a new location called Spire 4.

After visiting both Spire 4 and the Orbital Elevator, you will now be locked out of Xion. However, you can still visit the other locations. Before the second point of no return (follow the bike signal and leave) make sure to do everything else. This means, finding all the cans, all the fishing, and all the combat-related trophies. At this point, the only outstanding miscellaneous trophies should be Naytiba Researcher (63/67) and Meticulous Explorer (87/89) as these will be unlocked on your last route to the final boss. Also, be sure to toggle off the Auto-Sync Saved Data, and make a save at Xion before selecting to follow the bike signal and leave.

Once you’re ready, select to follow the bike signal and leave. You will be given the option to either “take the hand” or “refuse the hand.” Select either one, and play until the end of the game.

Next, reload your save, revisit the boss, and this time select the opposite option in order to get the second ending.

After the credits, select to play on New Game+. All your stats and equipment will carry over, making for a rather easy replay. This time, avoid doing any side-quests, and avoid picking up any memories from fallen soldiers or humans, as you want your trust level with Lily to be under 100%. Simply play through the story. At the final boss, select the option to “take the hand,” and you should get the final trophy, Cost Of Lost Memories, as well as the platinum trophy.

Final Fantasy XVI Trophy Guide

Final Fantasy XVI Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ** An action-RPG and the 16th main installment in the Final Fantasy series. Plenty of playtime is required for this platinum, including two full playthroughs. However, the overall difficulty is quite average.

Final Fantasy XVI

Final Fantasy XVI is the first game in the Final Fantasy series to released for the PlayStation 5. Players take control of the protagonist Clive Rosfield, while the AI controls other available party members. The game is an action-RPG which includes the ability to level-up basic stats as well as special attacks known as Eikon abilities.

Set in the fictional world of Valisthea, a land divided between two continents, Clive Rosfield is royalty-turned-rebel who possesses the ability to use the god-like power of Eikons. He finds himself caught in the middle of war and strife as nations lay siege on one another. Meanwhile, a shadowy yet powerful figure seems to be pulling the strings in the background.

Final Fantasy XVI received positive reviews with an average score of 89%, praised for its graphics, storyline, characters, and music, though criticized by a few for its lack of RPG elements and dialogue.

This is a high 2-star rating, though more due to the time required, rather than the challenge of obtaining the platinum. Unlocking 100% of the trophies will require two full playthroughs, the second being a NG+ on ‘Final Fantasy Mode’ which is the harder mode, as well as some grinding in order to fully upgrade all the Eikon abilities. The game allows you to equip “Rings” which can cause the character to automatically dodge basic attacks, as well as use Eikon abilities automatically, thereby making gameplay much easier and simpler. Also, so long as you do not sell any of your equipment, there are no missable trophies to worry about.

Expect around 80-90 hours of gameplay for the platinum.

To begin, you will have the option of playing on either Story or Action mode. Since you will need a second playthrough on ‘Final Fantasy Mode’ (hard mode) it does not matter which setting you set for your first playthrough.

If you wish to make your gameplay easier, add the Ring of Timely Evasion to your gear, which will cause Clive to automatically dodge simple attacks (you will still need to dodge certain attacks during boss battles). You can also add the Ring of Timely Strikes if you like, which will cause all your Eikon abilities to be automatically triggered simply by pressing the attack button, turning the game into more of a button-masher.

The only missable trophy is Half Past Twilight, which is for crafting the Gotterdammerung sword. For this, you will need to keep 2 Darksteel, 3 Orichalcum, and the Primitive Battlehorn. If you happen to sell these items, you will miss the chance to craft the Gotterdammerung sword, and therefore the Half Past Twilight. As long as you do not sell these items – or do not even bother selling any items, since it is not particularly necessary to do so – then you have nothing to worry about. Simply play through the entire game and enjoy the story.

After completing the story, the game will allow you to make save point just before the final boss. This is where you can roam freely and mop up all the trophies you may still be missing at this point. Be sure to check out the Final Fantasy XVI trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details on what you need. Try to unlock all the missing trophies, with the exception of Fantasy Finally and Masterclass.

Once you have finished your first playthrough and unlocked nearly all the trophies, it is time to start your NG+ on Final Fantasy mode. All your abilities, gear, and level, will carry over into this new game. On Final Fantasy mode, not only are the enemies higher level, but some mini-bosses will replace or be added to groups of enemies.

During your second playthrough, you’ll want to aim for getting the Masterclass trophy, which involves maxing out all your Eikon abilities. If you still have not unlocked the Masterclass trophy before taking on the final boss during your NG+ playthrough, you may wish to do some farming for AP first, in order to avoid a third playthrough.
