LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is an action-adventure with puzzle-solving elements, and part of the LEGO games franchise. Players can control up to 150 characters from the Marvel Universe, each with their own special ability, while exploring a LEGO version of New York City.
Doctor Doom has forged an alliance with Loki and several other super villains in order to find the Cosmic Bricks, enabling him to create a Doom Ray of Doom, which would allow him to rule the Earth. Nick Fury calls on the Marvel superheroes to find the Cosmic Bricks before Doctor Doom and stop his evil plan.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes received positive reviews, with an average score of 82%, praised for its humor, open-world gameplay, and overall fun.
As you would expect from a LEGO game, this one is a fairly easy platinum. The 2-star rating is mainly for time consumption, as going through and finding all the collectibles can take quite awhile. Expect between 35-45 hours of gaming for this platinum.
NOTE: You will need a second controller for the Don't I Know You and Have You Ever Tried Shawarma trophies.
ALSO NOTE: The Trophies on the PS4 have a separate list than those on the PS3.
Start by playing through the campaign and enjoying the game. Along the way, you can work on finding the minikits and Stan Lee Perils if you wish, just to make mopping-up easier later on. Also, after you've gotten your first million studs, we recommend buying the x2 Stud Multiplier Brick in Deadpool's room.
After that, you can work on completing the first four Bonus HUB Missions, which will unlock the x4 and x10 Stud Multiplier Bricks. Then work through Free Play in order to unlock characters. During this stage, you can also start working towards the Ultimate True Believer trophy, which requires meeting all the stud requirements for all 15 levels, and the 11 Bonus HUB Missions.
Next, you can start getting all the collectibles. This is where the time-consumption comes in. Use one of the collectible guides in our Links page to help speed up the process. After you've unlocked all the Bonus HUB Missions, you can finish those.
Finally, just mop-up any other trophies you're still missing.
