Titan Souls
Titan Souls is a 2D top-down action adventure. Players must traverse through the game armed with a single arrow, defeating nineteen giant monsters known as Titans, which require strategy in how each respective boss can be defeated. Both the player, as well as each boss, have a one-hit kill.
A hero armed with a single arrow ventures to the world between the Earth and beyond on a quest for truth and power. But in order to claim his reward, the hero must assemble the shards of the Titan Soul.
Titan Souls received positive reviews with an average score of 75%, praised for the variety of bosses, visuals, and controls, though both praised and criticized for its environmental design and replay value.
While the game itself is quite short, multiple playthroughs are required for the Platinum. On top of that, each playthrough requires a certain challenge requirement, and some of these can be quite difficult. Particularly for the Hard Bizkit trophy which requires completing the game without the ability to roll or run, a handicap when facing bosses. However, with enough practice, skill, and patience, any average player should still be able to unlock the Platinum.
Expect anywhere between 15-25 hours for the Platinum, heavily depending on skills.
NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS Vita.
While you'll need to perform a minimum of three playthroughs, the more you do, the easier your path to the Platinum will be. The game is not very long, and so we recommend taking the less frustrating approach and fulfill individual requirements in separate playthroughs.
First, simply play through the game from start to finish, on Normal difficulty - which is the only mode available at first. Rather than worrying about unlocking any miscellaneous trophies, we recommend simply focus on getting familiar with the game. If you have any trouble, be sure to check out some of the walkthroughs under our Links tab. You will unlock a number of story-related trophies during this first playthrough, including the Truth trophy for defeating the secret ending boss.
With that done, you'll have unlocked the ability to replay any boss. While the remaining trophies can be done in any order, we recommend going from easier to harder. The easier ones include the boss-related trophies. Not only will this boost your experience with the game, but knock out several miscellaneous trophies. Check out the Titan Souls trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details.
Next, it's time for a speed run. In order to unlock the Aerodynamics Bizkit trophy, you'll need to complete the game in under 20 minutes. This is not as difficult as it sounds, and twenty minutes still leaves some room for error. Again, check out the walkthroughs under our Links tab for extra tips.
After that, it's time for the more challenging trophies. You'll need to complete the game on No Roll mode for the Hard Bizkit trophy, a playthrough on Iron Mode for both the Iron God and Iron Human trophies, and a playthrough on Hard Iron mode for both the Iron Titan and New Game+ trophies. These are all quite challenging, especially the No Roll and Hard Iron mode playthroughs, so feel free to pick which one to complete first.
If you wish to make things easier, you can back up your save to either the PS+ Cloud or a USB drive, then reload if you die. It may be troublesome, but could reduce the amount of frustration you may feel, as well.
Good luck!
