RoboCop: Rogue City

RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooter based on the RoboCop films, and features the voice talent of Peter Weller reprising his role as the main character. Players follow a main storyline, alongside partner Anne Lewis, while participating in playable side-missions which include issuing criminal and traffic citations, conducting investigations, and dealing with the city’s criminals. Players are given options on how to solve side quests, which can affect their outcome, as well as make decisions throughout the main storyline which can alter the ending.

The story takes place in the near-future city of Detroit, and between the events the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. A rising threat, known simply as the “New Guy” is threatening the peace of Detroit, and must be stopped. Meanwhile, Alex Murphy is facing his own problems as he begins experiencing hallucinations.

RoboCop: Rogue City received mostly positive reviews with an average score of 73%. The game was praised for matching its look and feel to the films, as well as for its graphics, though criticized by some for its story, pacing, and glitches.

This is a high 1-star rating, only because there is still some skill involved. The game can be played on Easy mode, and with the exception of a few challenges which may require a couple retries, the game itself is not particularly difficult. With the exception of finding a single OCP skill disk, there are no collectibles to worry about. The game auto-saves at specific moments in the main mission, which can be reloaded if any mission or area specific trophies were missed. Lastly, the game itself is quite short, so this is not a time-consuming platinum, either.

Expect around 14-20 hours of gameplay, depending on how much time you decide to spend on completing side missions.

There are no difficulty-related trophies, so feel free to play on Easy mode, if you wish.

There are five mission-specific trophies to unlock, and five area-specific trophies. However, it is up to you if you wish to unlock these during your initial playthrough, or wait until after completing the story. Though the game does not technically include a chapter select, the game does autosave at certain moments in the main mission, which can be reloaded similar to a chapter select. This means that any miscellaneous trophies you missed during your playthrough can be easily obtained later, if you want.

It is up to you how many side-missions you wish to complete. These are not specific to any trophies, but will increase your XP and therefore allow for more skill points to be earned, making the game even easier. It is recommended that you have at least 3 points in the Engineering skill by the time you reach Mission 6: Street Vultures Turf, as this will make unlocking the Good Eyes, Murphy! Trophy much easier. Otherwise, you can start upgrading Deduction which, when fully upgraded, will give you a 30% XP boost.

Once you’ve completed the main mission, it is time to reload from the selection of auto-saves and start mopping-up any outstanding trophies that you may have missed along the way. PlayStation Plus Free Games April 2025

April showers brings May flowers, but Sony brings PlayStation Plus members more free games. And so, here is the PlayStation Plus free games April 2025 line-up which will be available for download on Tuesday, April 1.

First, for the PS5, there’s RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and based on the RoboCop films. Peter Weller, the actor who played the titular character in the first two films, reprises his role as RoboCop, the half-man and half-machine police officer patrolling Old Detroit. In this first-person shooter, players will conduct investigations and clear the streets of criminals, which a story which takes place following the events of the RoboCop 2 film.

Next, for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, developed by Sumo Nottingham and based on the 1974 film of the same name. In this online survival horror, players play as either one of the family of cannibals hunting their prey, or one of the victims trying to escape. The game takes place a few months before the 1974 film, and reprises some of the actor’s roles.

Lastly, for the PS4, there’s Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, developed by Media Vision. Based on the Digimon series, this RPG has players taking control of Digimon tamer Keisuke Amasawa in a futuristic version of Shibuya, Tokyo, and includes a grand total of 341 creatures.

All three PlayStation Plus free games April 2025 titles have platinum trophies to unlock.

Among them, obtaining the platinum for RoboCop: Rogue City is by far the quickest and easiest. Not only is the game not particularly challenging, but the platinum can be unlocked in roughly 15-20 hours, depending on how much of a rush you are in collecting those trophies.

The platinum for Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory is also not very challenging. However, as you might expect from an RPG involving catching Digimon, expect to put in around 70-80 hours of gameplay for this one.

Lastly, unlocking the platinum for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will test both your skills and patience. Having boosting partners will certainly help in unlocking some of the skill-based trophies. However, you will still need well over 100 hours of gameplay.

Heavy Fire Afghanistan Trophy Guide

Heavy Fire Afghanistan Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *  An on-rails shooter where the player is a Marine on his way to Afghanistan to eliminate a terrorist threat. A short and relatively easy Platinum.

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan is an on-rails arcade shooter, similar to such titles as Dead Space: Extraction or House of the Dead. Up to four players can select to use either the DualShock 3 or Move controller to control the cross-hair, while also taking cover from enemy fire.

The story, told through narration, is about the player-character who, since he was a boy, dreamed of joining the marines. Now a young man, he's seeing that dream realized as he arrives in Afghanistan to take out terrorists.

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan received poor reviews, with an average score of 42%, criticized for the shortness of the game, terrible sound effects and voice acting, as well as its racism and sensationalizing war.

Even with limited skills at on-rails first person shooters, this game is both quite short and fairly easy - arguably easier than Terminator: Salvation. Two playthroughs are needed, once on Rookie and once on Veteran mode - though each should take less than three hours to complete. Some possible mopping-up afterwards, but no online trophies to worry about.

In total, you could probably unlock this Platinum in about five or six hours.

In order to unlock Veteran mode, you'll need to complete the game on Rookie. As you play, you'll be unlocking several story-related trophies. To avoid much mopping-up, you'll want to try and work towards getting 300 headshots for the Head hunter trophy, get 10 chain kills for Chain C, as well as finishing a mission with an accuracy of at least 50% or higher for the Pinpoint Accurate trophy. Trophies associated with the number of kills and bullets used will come naturally during your first playthrough.

Once that's finished, you can start on Veteran mode. The amount of damage both you and the enemies take doesn't change. The only difference is the NPCs are more aggressive, with better aim and taking quicker shots. Take advantage of any cover you see, and try to polish off those headshots if you haven't yet done so.

After that, it should just be a matter of mopping-up anything you're still missing.
