Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a sequel to the 1999 game released for the PlayStation 2, and is the eighth title in the Tekken franchise. It is a fighting game in which players have the option of battling either solo or with a teammate. Tag Tournament 2 includes nearly all characters from previous Tekken games, totaling 59, with an added 6 as DLC. Players can customize their characters as they climb the ranks, playing in various modes such as Single, Tag Team, Arcade, Versus, and of course, online matches.

The game received high scores, with an average of 86%, praised for its online functionality and overall well-done game mechanics.

Not a particularly difficult Platinum here, even for those new to the Tekken series. There's a few online trophies, only one of which requires that you win a single Ranked match, the others simply playing - win or lose, it doesn't matter. Reaching the ranks of Tekken Lord will take a fair amount of grinding, buy you can set the game to Easy and each round to 1 to speed things up.

Given that there's no "Nightmare Train" in this game, the difficulty rating is one star less than Tekken 6. Tag Tournament 2 requires more time and grinding than skill.

This fighting game doesn't require much of a roadmap, particularly if you're an experienced Tekken player. Simply go through the various modes, collecting trophies, and check out the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab if you get stuck

If you're new to the Tekken world, you may want to begin in the Fight Lab, where you'll learn the basics of the game's mechanics, and can earn you four trophies.

Once you've got that down, you can head on into Arcade Mode. If you want things easier, you can change to Easy mode, which won't affect the trophies. Also, if you're in a rush, select 1 round per match in the settings. You'll need to play through twice, once as solo and once with a tag partner.

Afterwards, there are three trophies, each connected with Survival, Time Attack, and Team Battle. Once those are out of the way, you can start on the Ghost Battle and work your way up the ranks towards the Behold the Tekken Lord! trophy. This is where the grinding begins, and you'll probably need to play over a hundred battles. Again, check out the trophy guides under our Links tab for extra tips and strategies.

After that, you're left with a few online trophies which aren't too hard, and any mopping up of trophies you haven't acquired yet.
