The Escapists

The Escapists is a top-down, puzzle strategy game with 16-bit style graphics. Players assume the role of a prisoner trying to escape confinement. Each of the six levels are represented as prisons, which progressively become more difficult to escape. Player can buy or steal items from other prisoners to help in their escape, as well as perform side-missions in the form of “favors” for NPC characters.

The Escapists received generally positive reviews with an average score of 73%, praised for its challenge, puzzles, and overall fun, though criticized by some for its learning curve, and redundant “favors” as side-missions.

If using a guide, the Platinum is not particularly difficult, nor overly time consuming. Most of the work is in the beginning, figuring out what you need to do. Once you have a good grasp of the game, it’s fairly easy going. No online trophies to worry about, and nothing is missable due to the prison select.

Expect around 20 hours for the Platinum, give or take a few hours.

The first prison is naturally the easiest, so if you wish to avoid a lot of mopping up later, try to unlock a good chunk of the miscellaneous trophies as you can. Be sure to check out The Escapists trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details.

Specifically, you’ll want to complete as many favors as possible to work towards the Favor Fave trophy, though keep in mind that certain favors can have certain repercussions. Working towards that trophy will in turn help you get closer towards unlocking the Cash Is King trophy for earning over $1,000, as well as the Disrespect My Authority trophy and Punch Drunk trophy for knocking out 50 guards and 50 inmates respectively.

After the first prison, continue playing through the remaining five prisons, working towards and unlocking the remaining miscellaneous trophies along the way. Remember that the prisons get more difficult as you progress, so try to unlock everything as early as possible.

Once you’ve completed all six prisons, you can use the prison select to backtrack and mop up any trophies you may still be missing. Again, check out The Escapists trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need, and their requirements.

Worms Battlegrounds Trophy Guide

Worms Battlegrounds Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A 2D turn-based tactics game and part of the Worms series which began in 1995. The offline trophies are not difficult, though the online will require some skills and luck if done legitimately.

Worms Battlegrounds

Worms Battlegrounds is a 2D turn-based tactics game and part of the Worms series which began on the PC and fourth generation consoles in 1995. As in previous games in the series, players take turns moving worms from four different classes and using a variety of 65 different weapons with their worms in an attempt to destroy those in the other team. New weapons added to the game include a teleport gun to replace the Ninja Rope, and a return of the Holy Hand Grenade, Concrete Donkey, and Water Bomb. The game also includes online multiplayer.

Worms Battlegrounds received mixed reviews with an average score of 65%, praised for its multiplayer and fun weapons, though criticized for lacking in anything new from previous games in the series.

This is a high 2-star difficulty, as a few of the online trophies can be tricky to unlock if doing them legitimately. However, with boosting partners, the difficulty can be considered a low 2-star. The offline trophies are not very difficult, especially if you have experience with the Worms titles.

Expect less than 20 hours for the Platinum if you're boosting the online trophies, are far more if you're not.

Start by simply playing through and completing the story. The game itself is quite short, and should only take a few hours to complete. This will automatically unlock the eight story-related trophies. Also, to save time, try to get the Untouchable trophy during this step, which requires completing the No Zzz's in Escape level without taking any damage.

With that done, simply work on unlocking the remaining offline trophies. This includes completing all the Worm Ops missions in under eight minutes for the Sergeant Swift trophy, some kill-related trophies, and a few other miscellaneous ones. Check out the Worms Battlegrounds trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and their requirements.

At any point, you can hop online and obtain those 9 multiplayer trophies. Many of these can be done legitimately with some skill and a bit of luck, though the Steamroller trophy will be the most difficult which requires winning 5 ranked online games in a row. If you hope to boost these, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Alien Breed Impact Trophy Guide

Alien Breed Impact Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A top-down shooter battling against swarms of aliens, similar to the developer’s other title Dead Nation. A doable Platinum for any average player with some skills and time.

Alien Breed: Impact

Alien Breed: Impact is the PlayStation Network's version of Alien Breed: Evolution, only re-titled and with a few modifications, like an Upgrade Shop. The game is a top-down shooter, much in the style of Dead Nation or the classic Gauntlet. After an engineer collides his ship into another, which is infested with aliens, he must make his way to the engine room for repairs before both ships crash into a planet.

The game received a wide mix of reviews, averaging a score of 67%. It was praised for its graphics, atmosphere and overall enhancement from its 1996 predecessor, but criticized for being repetitive and rather simple.

A doable game, which the offline trophies can be obtained in one playthrough - though it would be tough. There are co-op trophies as well, but luckily you can play locally with a second controller, if you can't fine anyone online to lend you a hand.

As mentioned earlier, it's possible to jump into Elite mode and collect all the offline trophies in one go. However, this could be rather challenging, not to mention that some trophies are missable. The other option is to simply start on Rookie mode and collect as many as you can.

Watch out for the Knowledge Is Power, No Stone Unturned, Cash Is King, and Pure Pawn trophies, as these CANNOT be obtained in the Free Play mode. Check out the tips and guides in our Links page so you won't miss them.

Afterwards, if you haven't already, play through the game on Elite. There are also 2 co-op trophies: Team Veteran and Hard To Kill. If you can't find anyone online to play with you, just call someone over and hand them an extra controller.
