Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game as part of the Final Fantasy franchise, and the second MMO in the series after Final Fantasy XI. The game is a replacement of the 2010 Final Fantasy XIV which took place five years earlier, and was shut down due to poor reception. Players design their characters among several races and starting classes, and improve their stats by leveling up through gained experience points by fulfilling quests and battling enemies. The game also includes a player versus player arena in which a team of four players battle other online players in different modes.

The story takes place in Eorzea, a region on the planet Hydaelyn, made up of three large continents each with different environments and climates. After experiencing a set of visions, the adventurer meets the leader of a secret society who explains the visions mark the adventurer as a chosen representative of Hydaelyn.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its overall improvement from the 2010 Final Fantasy XIV, specifically to the combat system, game engine, environment, and was both praised and criticized for its writing.

The Platinum for this MMO is not only challenging due specifically to one trophy, but incredibly time consuming. The Seeker Of Truth trophy for completing the Binding Coil not only requires excellent skills and strategy, but the skills of your party members as well, in addition to complete cooperation. Also, An Adventurer's Life trophy for completing 1,000 levequests requires a minimum of six months, since it's only possible to do six per day.

Expect roughly 500-600 hours of game time for the Platinum if you rush through things, spaced over six months.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3.

Before we begin, it should be noted that the Warrior Of Light trophy could technically be missable for players who began playing the game on the PC. This is because the final quest, The Ultimate Weapon, needs to be completed either on the PS3 or PS4 version for the trophy to unlock. However, if you haven't played the game on the PC, didn't port your character, or at least haven't yet completed the final quest on the PC, then you have nothing to worry about.

Design any character you want, though keep in mind that since damage dealers are the most common, as in most MMORPGs, you will have an easier time finding groups if you select a tank or healer class. But you're in this for the long haul if you're going for the Platinum, so it's most important to feel comfortable with your class.

Start things by going through and eventually completing the main game. Your should earn some story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally along the way.

As you go through the main story, you'll also be leveling-up your character of course, while also working towards the 1,000-related trophies, such as completing 1,000 levequests which you'll need allowances for that are distributed as three every twelve hours, and the crafting-related trophies for eventually synthesizing 1,000 items for each type.

Also, while playing through the main story, you should be making an effort to meet people and find online friends. If you're having trouble, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab. You'll especially need the online assistance when you are going for The Seeker Of Truth trophy.

Once that's finished, it's time to start grinding. Continue working on the crafting-related trophies until you've eventually gotten them all, keep upgrading, make Gil, and remember to keep doing those levequests as often as you can.

Once you've reached Level 50, you can start farming for Tomes of Mythology by dong high level dungeons. Your ultimate goal here is to obtain a full set of Myth armor and a Relic weapon. Through this, you should eventually unlock the To Crush 10,000 Enemies trophy for doing just that, and the Repeat Offender trophy for clearing 100 instanced raids with at least four people in your party. Again, keep doing those levequests until you've unlocked An Adventurer's Life trophy.

After that, it's time to mop up what's left. This may include the Slay They Neighbor trophy for participating in a PvP event, and of course the dreaded Seeker Of Truth trophy. Again, check out boosting forums under our Links tab if you're looking for players.
