Eye of Judgement

The Eye of Judgement is a turn-based card game, and has the honor of being the first PlayStation 3 game to make use of the Eye. The camera is fixed over a mat with nine squares, or "fields." Players must conquer and control each field by placing a card which can either summon a creature or spell. Whoever takes control of five fields is the winner.

The game scored an average rating of 84% for its overall fun and challenge, and use of AR technology, which was quite new at the time.

Perhaps one of the more expensive Platinums, as you'll need the PlayStation Eye and several card sets. It's impossible to collect the more difficult trophies with just the starter set, so be prepared to dish out more cash.

Also, the game itself can be quite challenging - hence the 3-star rating. Follow the tips and strategies under our Links tab to help ease the burden on this one.

This game is quite different than anything else on the PlayStation 3, and the trophies cannot be cheated or boosted. Simply put, you need to play the game from start to finish in order to collect all the trophies. Luckily, they are all offline.

First you'll need to unlock all the pre-constructed decks, which basically make up all the bronze trophies in the game. Once those have been completed, you'll be able to play the challenge sets. Afterwards, it's just a matter of getting the Devine Warrior of Juno trophy, which requires 100 wins against the computer.

Knack

Knack is a platforming action-adventure, and an exclusive launch title for the PlayStation 4, which was bundled as a free game in Japan. Players control a creature named Knack, who can alter size by incorporating relics into his body, as well as use different abilities depending on the substances incorporated. The game also connects with Knack's Quest, a free smartphone puzzle game which can unlock special relics within the main game.

The Goblins, lead by their leader Gundahar, have returned and declared war on the humans. In a desperate attempt to protect themselves, Dr. Vargas has created a strange creature named Knack as a weapon to fight back the Goblins.

Knack received very mixed reviews, with an average score of 61%, generally praised for its innovation and overall fun, but criticized by others for its story, while receiving mixed reviews on its gameplay.

Despite seemingly aimed at younger players, the platinum for Knack is no cakewalk. At least two full playthroughs are required, though most likely three or even four, with mopping-up using a chapter select. Your playthrough on Very Hard difficulty can be very challenging.

Expect around 40-50 hours of gameplay, depending on your skills and how many playthroughs you decide to do.

There are two different routes you can take on your way to the platinum: slow and easy, or quick and frustrating. The choice is yours.

If you select slow and easy, then you'll want to start your playthrough on Normal mode. For the most part, you can simply play and enjoy the game from start to finish, collecting gadgets and crystals along the way. You can follow one of the collectible guides in our Links page if you wish, but there aren't enough secret chests in one playthrough to collect everything, so you can always leave this for your next playthrough. When you're finished, select to continue the game from Chapter 1, and here you'll want to focus on collecting everything. Once that's finished, use the Chapter Select to mop-up anything you're still missing.

If, however, you've got some serious skills and wish to get that platinum as quick as possible, then perform the above advice on Hard mode. The reason this is faster, is that completing on Hard mode will unlock Very Hard. If you've decided to unlock most of the trophies on Normal, then you'll need to do another playthrough on Hard.

Once all that's out of the way, you can go ahead and play on Very Hard mode once it's unlocked. This is no cakewalk, and expect to die a number of time.s Hopefully, however, if you've left the Knack Master trophy for last, then you'll have a platinum waiting for you at the end of this challenging game.
