Racquet Sports
Racquet Sports, known as Racket Sports in North America, is a sports game which utilizes the PlayStation Move controller and PlayStation Eye camera. The game includes five different racquet sports: Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Beach Tennis, and Table Tennis, of which up to 4 players can participate, and 8 players online. Players swing the PlayStation Move controller as they would a real racquet against the ball in each of the five categories.
Racquet Sports received poor reviews, with an average score of 48%. Though it was praised for its graphics and presentation, the game was mainly criticized for its controls and simple, repetitive gameplay.
This is a high 3-star rating, due to two online trophies - one of which requires winning 25 online games, the other needs you to win while your opponent has a score of zero. Not only is this difficult to do legitimately, but the online community is rather dead at this point and so difficult to find anyone to play with.
However, if you have a boosting partner, these two online trophies could be knocked out easily. This still only brings the difficulty rating down to a low 3-star however, as the offline trophies are no piece of cake either, due to both the challenge of aiming and, at times, clumsy controls.
Expect roughly 30 hours for the Platinum if boosting the online trophies, and far more if you're attempting them legitimately.
There's a Career Mode for each of the five racquet sports: Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Beach Tennis, and Table Tennis, and each of these games are divided into Amateur, Professional, and Masters. We recommend starting here, selecting one of the sports and making your way through until you've completed both the Masters as well as their Private Cup, of which you'll need to accept the invitation to during your playthrough. These five sports can be done in any order of your choosing, though we found Tennis and Squash to be the more difficult of the five, so you may wish to save these two for last.
Completing all five Career Modes, their three difficult modes, and winning the Private Cups, will not only unlock their respective trophies, but you should also unlock a few naturally during the course of the Career Mode.
After that, you can move onto the Training Mode. Despite being titled "training," these are quite challenging, which is why we recommend doing this after completing the Career Mode and you've had time to get used to the game and its controls. You'll need to get 10 straight shots in each of the five sports in order to unlock the Winning Streak trophy, which is probably one of the most difficult trophies in the game.
After that, you can head into online play. There are two trophies to unlock here: Have A Tissue Pal for winning an online match while your opponent has a score of zero points, and Playing With The Big Boys for winning 25 online matches. The online community is rather dead at the moment, and getting these two trophies legitimately will be quite difficult. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab if you're interested in finding a boosting partner.
After all that, simply mop-up any remaining trophies you still need.
Good luck, and be sure to rest your arm from time to time!
