Another month, and another round of freebies from Sony. Here is the next line-up of PlayStation Plus free games September 2020 that are available to download on September 1.
First, there’s Street Fighter V, the 2D fighting game first released in 2016 which features four new characters, and introduces the V-Gauge which builds through the player receiving attacks and allows performing new techniques. Also, in celebration of this PS+ freebie, Sony will be holding tournaments beginning September 4, with prizes for the best of the best.
And, there’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, the online multiplayer battle royale where up to 100 players scavenge for weapons on an island and defeat one another in an attempt to be the last man standing.
Both Street Fighter V and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have Platinum trophies to unlock.
The Platinum for Street Fighter V is perhaps the most difficult in the series. Not only will you need to sink a fair amount of time into grinding for XP, but you’ll need to complete Survival Mode on Hell difficulty, win at least 300 ranked online games, and reach the top 10% in online League Ranking.
The Platinum for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is certainly more reasonable, but will still require quite a lot of time as you reach 1000 kills. Most of the other trophies are kill-related and will come naturally as you continue to play.
