Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension
Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is a platforming adventure game based on the Disney TV movie of the same name, which in turn is based on the Phineas and Ferb TV series. Up to two players navigate across 25 levels, with the ability to upgrade gadgets and weapons. The game also possesses PlayStation Move controller compatibility.
After Phineas, Ferb, and Perry follow Dr. Doofenshmirtz through his Otherdimensionator, they arrive in another alternate universe where an evil Dr. Doof controls the Tristate Area with an army of robots. Together, they must stop the evil Dr. Doof from ruling both dimensions and find a way back home.
Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 64%, praised for its visuals and environments, as well as for remaining faithful to the cartoon, while criticized by some for its short campaign and lack of challenging levels.
While perhaps not in the same league as Hanna Montana or Megamind, the platinum trophy for Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is still easy and quick enough to warrant nothing higher than a 1-star difficulty rating. Only basic gaming skills are required, as well as a guide to help find all the collectibles.
If using a guide, the Platinum can be earned in less than 10 hours.
The first order of business is to simply play the game, from beginning to end. There are no missable trophies, since a chapter select is available. However, to make things less time consuming, we recommend following one of the walkthroughs or collectible guides under our Links tab to get all the collectibles that are available in one go. This includes finding tokens, upgrade chips, and figures. Some of these collectibles, however, will need to be purchased from the shop.
And that brings us to the second step. Here, you'll need to do some grinding and farming to get enough coins for the mini games. We recommend replaying the first level, as it's the easiest and is pretty short. Once you've managed to win all the prizes necessary, it's time for step three.
Here, just use the chapter select to mop-up any remaining trophies you still might need. Check out the Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension trophy guide links under our Links tab to see the requirements on whatever you're still missing.
