Orc Slayer
Orc Slayer is a first-person shooter that takes place in a medieval fantasy environment. Armed with a crossbow, players fire at respawning Orcs until there are none left, allowing advancement to the next level. Characters may level-up after having collected enough gold coins dropped by random enemies, as well as use random power-ups that enhance the crossbow's bolts.
Orcs have invaded the land! On a quest for revenge, the player-character must cross the landscape and into the heart of the hoard, destroying all Orcs in its path before restoring peace to the land.
While Orc Slayer lacked many reviews from online critics, most players gave an average score of 14%, criticized for its repetitive gameplay, clunky graphics, and technical issues.
Orc Slayer is a rather effortless game that requires little skill. Simply run about and shoot Orcs by holding the R2 button, before advancing to the next level and repeating the process. The game itself is quite short, and so long as you unlock the four missable trophies, the Platinum can be obtained at the end of the game.
The Platinum trophy can be unlocked in less than 2 hours.
If you wish to make things quicker and easier, change the difficulty mode to Easy before starting.
From here on out, simply hold the R2 button and wipe out all the Orcs you come across, while occasionally using L1 for your sword against barriers. Collect coins to fill the yellow bar, which will award you with a skill point. While it's up to you how to spend your upgrades, we recommend first balancing between Defense and Reload Speed, and only then work on Bold Sharpness. Access the Skill Tree by hitting the Triangle button.
There are four missable trophies to watch out for: Relics In The Woods for locating the hidden area in the woods on the first level, A Place In The Mountains for finding the secret location in Level 9, Slay Big Bertha for killing the giant hen that appears in Level 9, and Dem Bones for killing 30 Orc Skeletons in Level 11.
As long as you get those four missable trophies, you should be fine. All others are either story-related, or should unlock naturally during your progress through the game.
