Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet

Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is an action platformer and part of the Marvel Super Hero Squad franchise. The game uses cartoonish versions of the Marvel super heroes, featuring 31 characters in total, and includes a Challenge Mode which allows up to 4 players.

Inspired by The Infinity Gauntlet comic mini-series, the Super Heroes learn that Thanos is in pursuit of the Infinity Stones: six powerful gems which, when combined, give the possessor unlimited, God-like power. The Super Heroes must find the Infinity Stones before Thanos.

Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 68%, praised for being a fun co-op family game, but lacking in any particular exceptional areas.

This is a high 1-star rating, and is certainly more challenging than Comic Combat using the uDraw. The campaign itself isn't particularly long nor difficult, with collectibles to find and a Free Play afterwards for mopping-up. However, the Challenge Mode can sometimes be very frustrating, particularly if you're playing alone and not with a friend.

Overall, the Platinum should take between 10-15 hours, depending on whether you're doing it solo or co-op.

At some point, you will need to play through on Challenging mode, which is the hardest difficulty. If you're in a rush for that platinum, we recommend going ahead and doing so from the start. It's not that difficult. Otherwise, just play from beginning to end, and enjoy the game. There are collectibles to find in the form of stone fragments. However, you won't be able to access all of them during your first playthrough, so it's up to you if you wish to bother with some of them now, or not.

After that, you can select the Free Play mode. Here, you can go back to any previous Episodes and mop-up whatever trophies you're missing. This of course, will include finding the remaining collectibles, now that they are accessible with the unlocked super heroes.

Last, is completing the Challenge Mode. This is the frustrating aspect of the game, particularly if you're playing solo. Having more than one player, however, will certainly make things easier.
