Today, Sony announced their next line-up of free-to-play titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers, which will be available for download on Tuesday, March 7.
On the PlayStation 4, there’s Disc Jam, a brand new title by High Horse Entertainment. From a third-person perspective, players race to grab and throw a glowing disc in a game described as a cross between air hockey and tennis. Also, there’s Tearaway Unfolded, the platforming adventure ported from the PS Vita, where a messenger must deliver a secret letter through a portal in this storybook-like paper world.
For the PlayStation 3, there’s Earth Defense Force 2025, the third-person shooter where players must defend the Earth against a swarm of giant alien insects. And Under Night: In-Birth, a cross between a visual novel and 2D fighting game in which Hyde has the ability to see and fight shadowy creatures that feed on power.
And on the PlayStation Vita, there’s Lumo, a puzzle-solving platformer in which a magician explores various rooms to uncover all its secrets. And Severed, the action-adventure title from DrinkBox Studios where a lost warrior is in search of the story of her own life from both the past and future.
While the trophy list for Disc Jam hasn’t yet been unveiled, all remaining five games have platinum trophies to unlock. Among these, Severed is perhaps the easiest with only about 10 hours of gameplay required. Also, both Tearaway Unfolded and Under Night: In-Birth are not too difficult for any average gamer, each taking only 20-25 hours of gameplay for their platinum trophies.
