Gravity Rush Remastered

Gravity Rush Remastered is a third-person action adventure, directed by Keiichiro Toyama, the creator behind the Silent Hill and Siren series. The game was originally released for the PlayStation Vita in 2012, and ported onto the PlayStation 4 in 2016. The player-character uses powers to defy gravity, allowing her to run along walls and ceilings, levitate, and fly. Enemies are defeated either through melee attacks, or by levitating objects and throwing them. The story progresses through manga-like cut-scenes.

Kat awakens with amnesia, and finds herself in a floating city named Hekseville. Without knowing who she is or where she came from, Kat befriends a mysterious cat which passes on to her the ability to manipulate gravity. She must uses these powers to save the city from the strange creatures called the Nevi that are terrorizing the citizens, and stop the gravity storm that is threatening to destroy Hekseville.

The original Gravity Rush received mixed to positive reviews with an average score of 82%, praised for its engaging characters, stylistic setting, visuals, and controls, though criticized by some for repetitive battles. The story was either loved or criticized by different online magazines.

This is a high 2-star difficulty, only because getting gold on a few of the challenges can be quite difficult. However, a good chunk of the trophies are story-related, and no trophies are missable. Most of the challenges are fairly reasonable in getting gold, though as we said, there are a couple which can be quite frustrating and will take multiple practice tries.

Expect anywhere between 20-30 hours for the Platinum, depending on your skills and luck with the challenges.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS Vita.

There are no missable trophies to worry about, so simply start by going through and completing the story. There are 21 Episodes in total, though the overall story is not very long, and can be completed in under 10 hours, depending on how much exploring you do. Along the way, you'll be naturally unlocking all the story-related trophies.

Once you finish the story, you'll enter a free-roam mode. Your next step is to complete, and get a gold medal on, all 20 Challenges. By now you should be pretty used to the controls, so getting gold on most of these shouldn't be too difficult. However, a few can be quite tricky and even frustrating. Just keep practicing, and check out some of the videos and challenge guides under our Links tab to help you.

Finally, if you haven't unlocked the Platinum by now, simply mop-up anything you're still missing. Check out the Gravity Rush Remastered trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Gravity Rush 2 Online Servers Shutting Down This Month

Despite the fan campaign to keep the Gravity Rush 2 online servers alive with their #DontForgetGravityRush protest, both SIE Japan Studio and Project Siren have officially announced that the servers will be closed on July 19.

The online servers were originally scheduled to be shut down on January 19, yet due to the #DontForgetGravityRush campaign, SIE Japan Studio decided to allow the online service to continue for six more months.

The good news for trophy hunters at least, is that the Platinum will remain obtainable after the Gravity Rush 2 online servers close on July 19. None of the trophies are online, including the 11 trophies on the DLC pack The Ark of Time – Raven’s Choice.

The online aspect to Gravity Rush 2 was an added feature which allowed players to obtain new costumes and items to decorate their in-game home, as well as send and receive Challenges, Treasure Hunts, and Photo Ghosts, and view rankings.

Gravity Rush 2, known in Japan as Gravity Daze 2, is a third-person action adventure released in January 2017 exclusively for the PS4. The main character, Kat, possesses the ability to manipulate gravity while she battles against strange creatures known as the Nevi. The game is a sequel to the 2012 Gravity Rush which was originally an exclusive for the PlayStation Vita before being ported in a Remastered version for the PS4.
