This game isn't any less or more difficult than other God of War titles. The Platinum can be earned with the same, usual roadmap - play the game on Hard mode, find all the collectibles, beat the Challenge of the Gods.

Can be completed in under 12 hours, particularly if you have experience with the series.

If you're in a rush for that Platinum, then you'll want to begin your game on Hard mode to unlock Zeus May Cry along with Only One Remains. Along the way, there are the usual collectibles to find - Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feathers - in addition to finding all the Minotaur Horns and the Godly Possessions. You may want to follow one of the walkthroughs we've posted in our Links page to locate all these collectibles so as to avoid a second playthrough. In addition, there are three missable trophies to watch out for: Make Her Scream, A Hero's Welcome, and The Midas Trick. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page for further details on how/when to collect these trophies.

Once you've finished the game, you'll have unlocked the Combat Arena, which you can use to mop-up the other trophies which may include farming for red orbs, acquiring the Grave Digger's Shovel as the final relic, get any combat-related trophies you're missing, and even perform the 1000-hit combo for the Greatest Hits trophy.
