Final Fantasy XVI

Final Fantasy XVI is the first game in the Final Fantasy series to released for the PlayStation 5. Players take control of the protagonist Clive Rosfield, while the AI controls other available party members. The game is an action-RPG which includes the ability to level-up basic stats as well as special attacks known as Eikon abilities.

Set in the fictional world of Valisthea, a land divided between two continents, Clive Rosfield is royalty-turned-rebel who possesses the ability to use the god-like power of Eikons. He finds himself caught in the middle of war and strife as nations lay siege on one another. Meanwhile, a shadowy yet powerful figure seems to be pulling the strings in the background.

Final Fantasy XVI received positive reviews with an average score of 89%, praised for its graphics, storyline, characters, and music, though criticized by a few for its lack of RPG elements and dialogue.

This is a high 2-star rating, though more due to the time required, rather than the challenge of obtaining the platinum. Unlocking 100% of the trophies will require two full playthroughs, the second being a NG+ on ‘Final Fantasy Mode’ which is the harder mode, as well as some grinding in order to fully upgrade all the Eikon abilities. The game allows you to equip “Rings” which can cause the character to automatically dodge basic attacks, as well as use Eikon abilities automatically, thereby making gameplay much easier and simpler. Also, so long as you do not sell any of your equipment, there are no missable trophies to worry about.

Expect around 80-90 hours of gameplay for the platinum.

To begin, you will have the option of playing on either Story or Action mode. Since you will need a second playthrough on ‘Final Fantasy Mode’ (hard mode) it does not matter which setting you set for your first playthrough.

If you wish to make your gameplay easier, add the Ring of Timely Evasion to your gear, which will cause Clive to automatically dodge simple attacks (you will still need to dodge certain attacks during boss battles). You can also add the Ring of Timely Strikes if you like, which will cause all your Eikon abilities to be automatically triggered simply by pressing the attack button, turning the game into more of a button-masher.

The only missable trophy is Half Past Twilight, which is for crafting the Gotterdammerung sword. For this, you will need to keep 2 Darksteel, 3 Orichalcum, and the Primitive Battlehorn. If you happen to sell these items, you will miss the chance to craft the Gotterdammerung sword, and therefore the Half Past Twilight. As long as you do not sell these items – or do not even bother selling any items, since it is not particularly necessary to do so – then you have nothing to worry about. Simply play through the entire game and enjoy the story.

After completing the story, the game will allow you to make save point just before the final boss. This is where you can roam freely and mop up all the trophies you may still be missing at this point. Be sure to check out the Final Fantasy XVI trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details on what you need. Try to unlock all the missing trophies, with the exception of Fantasy Finally and Masterclass.

Once you have finished your first playthrough and unlocked nearly all the trophies, it is time to start your NG+ on Final Fantasy mode. All your abilities, gear, and level, will carry over into this new game. On Final Fantasy mode, not only are the enemies higher level, but some mini-bosses will replace or be added to groups of enemies.

During your second playthrough, you’ll want to aim for getting the Masterclass trophy, which involves maxing out all your Eikon abilities. If you still have not unlocked the Masterclass trophy before taking on the final boss during your NG+ playthrough, you may wish to do some farming for AP first, in order to avoid a third playthrough.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an action RPG and a retelling of the original 1997 Final Fantasy VII. While the game mostly follows the same story, characters, dialogue, and music from the 1997 original, the graphics have been completely redone, and the battle system has changed to a hybrid of real-time action and strategic RPG elements, similar to the fighting system in Final Fantasy XV.

Set in Midgar, a dystopian metropolis, Soldier turned mercenary Cloud Strife has joined Avalanche, an eco-terrorist group attempting to stop the Sinra megacorporation from using up the planet’s life force. As cloud embarks on missions for money, he soon sympathizes with Avalanche’s cause as well as its members, leading him to face a deadly nemesis from his past.

Final Fantasy VII Remake received positive reviews with an average score of 89%, praised for its re-imagining of the original game while remaining true to its roots, new combat system, colorful characters, beautiful graphics, and for being overall superior to its original.

The difficulty is relatively average, although you will need to put in a fair number of hours into obtaining the Platinum, hence the 3-star rating. There are no missable trophies to worry about, as a chapter select allows you to go back and mop-up anything you are missing. Two full playthroughs are required, one on either Easy or Normal, and a second on Hard mode.

Expect around 70-80 hours for the Platinum.

In the beginning, you have the option of playing on Easy or Normal. The former will make the gameplay quicker, while the latter will better prepare you for your Hard playthrough, so the choice is yours. You will need to complete the game on any mode in order to unlock Hard mode.

There are no missable trophies to worry about, so feel free to play at your leisure towards the end of the game. If you wish to avoid much backtracking however, we recommend completing all 24 available side quests, and find all 31 music discs for the Disc Jockey trophy.

After you finished your first playthrough, it’s time to use the chapter select and mop up anything you missed. This will include the Best In The Business trophy for completing all the side quests, as you will need to replay Chapter 9 and make different choices that allow you to complete the previously missed quests. In addition to Chapter 9, you will also need to replay both Chapter 3 and Chapter 8 in order to unlock the different bridal dresses for the Dressed To The Nines trophy. Check out the Final Fantasy VII Remake trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details, as well as which trophies you still may need and their requirements.

Keep in mind, however, that you will still need to replay the game on Hard mode, where you can complete the missing quests as well as obtain three of the nine bridal outfits, if you wish to avoid much backtracking. Lastly, it’s time for your playthrough on Hard mode. Here, enemies have more health and deal more damage. In addition, you will be unable to use items, and MP cannot be regenerated by resting on a bench nor through completing quests. Make sure to come prepared, such as having useful material maxed out, and acquiring the Gotterdammerung accessory which, when equipped to Cloud, will make things much easier. Hard mode can be selected from the chapter select, though the entire chapter must be played on Hard for it to count.

During this playthrough, remember to complete the missed quests in Chapter 9 and make different choices in order to view the final three bridal dresses, if you haven’t done so already. Completing the game on Hard mode will unlock the Hardened Veteran trophy, and if you’ve been following this roadmap, the Platinum trophy as well.

Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII is a third-person RPG first released on the PlayStation One in 1997, eventually revamped in HD with trophy support for the PlayStation 4 in 2015, while maintaining the same graphics, story and gameplay as the original. Like in previous Final Fantasy titles, players explore a map, collecting items and fulfilling quests, while fighting randomly encountered enemies in turn-based battles. Characters may level-up by acquiring experience points earned after each battle.

The world, referred to as the Planet, is having its Lifestream energy drained by the Sinra Electric Power Company. Cloud Strife, who was once a 1st Class Soldier, joins with Avalanche, a small rebellion bent on stopping the Sinra Electric Power Company.

The original 1997 Final Fantasy VII received high praise with an average score of 95%, praised for its graphics, story, interesting characters, and gameplay.

The game allows the use of cheats, such as Turbo Mode and No Encounter Mode to make things quicker, and God Mode to make things easier. Using these cheats will not disable trophies, and make your route to the Platinum much easier. While there are a few missable trophies, most of them are quite straight forward. As long as you follow some of the guides under our Links tab, the Platinum is not particularly difficult, nor overtly time consuming.

Expect around 30-40 hours for the Platinum, depending on your use of the cheats.

Most of the missable trophies are in the first part of the game, up until the end of the City of the Ancients. These include the Consummate Cross-Dresser trophy for having Don Corneo chose Cloud over the two females, the Waiting In The Wings trophy for obtaining the Bahamut Materia, the See The Light trophy for learning the Great Gospel, and the Best Bromance trophy for going on a date with Barret in the Gold Saucer. Be sure to check out details on these trophies in the Final Fantasy VII trophy guide links under our Links tab. Also, there is a Best Bromance Walkthrough under our Links tab, as well.

Once that is all done, you can go ahead and play through the game up until the Northern Cavern, which is the final dungeon. At this point, be sure to make a separate save which you can reload later.

Now, it’s time to get all the other trophies. There are some miscellaneous ones to collect, as well as some grinding to do, especially for amassing 99,999,999 gil for the Coming Up All Nines trophy, and reaching level 99 with a character for the Liege Of Leveling trophy. Feel free to enable the cheats to make these steps much easier and quicker. Also again, check out the Final Fantasy VII trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details on what you still need.

Once all that is done, it’s time to complete the game and unlock the final trophy, A Feat Of Meteoric Proportions, as well as the Platinum. It should be noted that facing the final boss at level 99 will cause him to be stronger, which is why we recommended creating a save beforehand.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Trophy Guide PS4

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn **** 39 Square Enix Japan 20 15 3 38 0

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game as part of the Final Fantasy franchise, and the second MMO in the series after Final Fantasy XI. The game is a replacement of the 2010 Final Fantasy XIV which took place five years earlier, and was shut down due to poor reception. Players design their characters among several races and starting classes, and improve their stats by leveling up through gained experience points by fulfilling quests and battling enemies. The game also includes a player versus player arena in which a team of four players battle other online players in different modes.

The story takes place in Eorzea, a region on the planet Hydaelyn, made up of three large continents each with different environments and climates. After experiencing a set of visions, the adventurer meets the leader of a secret society who explains the visions mark the adventurer as a chosen representative of Hydaelyn.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its overall improvement from the 2010 Final Fantasy XIV, specifically to the combat system, game engine, environment, and was both praised and criticized for its writing.

The Platinum for this MMO is not only challenging due specifically to one trophy, but incredibly time consuming. The Seeker Of Truth trophy for completing the Binding Coil not only requires excellent skills and strategy, but the skills of your party members as well, in addition to complete cooperation. Also, An Adventurer's Life trophy for completing 1,000 levequests requires a minimum of six months, since it's only possible to do six per day.

Expect roughly 500-600 hours of game time for the Platinum if you rush through things, spaced over six months.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3.

Before we begin, it should be noted that the Warrior Of Light trophy could technically be missable for players who began playing the game on the PC. This is because the final quest, The Ultimate Weapon, needs to be completed either on the PS3 or PS4 version for the trophy to unlock. However, if you haven't played the game on the PC, didn't port your character, or at least haven't yet completed the final quest on the PC, then you have nothing to worry about.

Design any character you want, though keep in mind that since damage dealers are the most common, as in most MMORPGs, you will have an easier time finding groups if you select a tank or healer class. But you're in this for the long haul if you're going for the Platinum, so it's most important to feel comfortable with your class.

Start things by going through and eventually completing the main game. Your should earn some story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally along the way.

As you go through the main story, you'll also be leveling-up your character of course, while also working towards the 1,000-related trophies, such as completing 1,000 levequests which you'll need allowances for that are distributed as three every twelve hours, and the crafting-related trophies for eventually synthesizing 1,000 items for each type.

Also, while playing through the main story, you should be making an effort to meet people and find online friends. If you're having trouble, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab. You'll especially need the online assistance when you are going for The Seeker Of Truth trophy.

Once that's finished, it's time to start grinding. Continue working on the crafting-related trophies until you've eventually gotten them all, keep upgrading, make Gil, and remember to keep doing those levequests as often as you can.

Once you've reached Level 50, you can start farming for Tomes of Mythology by dong high level dungeons. Your ultimate goal here is to obtain a full set of Myth armor and a Relic weapon. Through this, you should eventually unlock the To Crush 10,000 Enemies trophy for doing just that, and the Repeat Offender trophy for clearing 100 instanced raids with at least four people in your party. Again, keep doing those levequests until you've unlocked An Adventurer's Life trophy.

After that, it's time to mop up what's left. This may include the Slay They Neighbor trophy for participating in a PvP event, and of course the dreaded Seeker Of Truth trophy. Again, check out boosting forums under our Links tab if you're looking for players. And be sure to check out the Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still may need and their requirements.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Remix

Kingdom Hearts II Final Remix is an action RPG which combines characters and worlds from Disney films as well as Square Enix's Final Fantasy series. The game was first released in 2005 on the PlayStation 2, then remastered in HD as part of the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix collection for the PlayStation 3 in 2014, and again on the PlayStation 4 in 2017. The game can be played in either first or third person, where players attack enemies in a hack-and-slash style gameplay, while upgrading and accessing new abilities by accumulating experience points.

A year following the events of the original Kingdom Hearts, where Sora, Donald, and Goofy have been in suspended animation to obtain their lost memories. They soon find themselves in Twilight Town, where they are sent on their next quest by King Mickey.

The original Kingdom Hearts II received critical acclaim with an average score of 89%, praised for its engaging story, immersive worlds realistically recreated from their respective Disney films, graphics, and improvements over its predecessor.

While the game can be challenging at times, particularly during the beginning of the Critical difficulty playthrough, as well as some mini-games and boss battles, the Platinum is still very doable for any average gamer. However, a lot of time will be required. The Platinum can either be earned in one playthrough on Critical difficulty, or split into two, making things easier but longer. There are no missable trophies to worry about.

Expect anywhere between 75 to over 100 hours, depending on whether you choose to perform one or two playthroughs, as well as having any previous experience with the game.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

Critical mode, the game's most difficulty mode, is available from the beginning. So if you wish to unlock the Platinum in one playthrough, you can. However, be warned that some of the trophies can be quite frustrating on Critial mode, especially for beginner players. If this is your first time, we recommend splitting your playthrough in two: one on Beginner (or Standard) difficulty and unlocking nearly all the trophies, then a second on Critical just to clear the game.

There are no missable trophies to worry about, so just play through the story and enjoy the game. You'll be unlocking some story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally along the way.

Next, it's time to put in more time and effort in unlocking all those miscellaneous trophies. These can be done in any order you wish, though we recommend starting with completing all the puzzles, collecting all the maps, and completing the mission entries in Jiminy's Journal, all the while getting Sora up to Level 99 for the Level Master trophy. Once Sora's level has been maxed out, you can start going after the more challenging trophies, such as those related to the optional boss battles. Be sure to check out the Kingdom Hearts II Final Remix trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

If you'd selected to play on Critical difficulty, then you should have the Platinum after unlocking all those miscellaneous trophies. If not, then now is the time to start your Critical run. Since you should already have all the other trophies, then you just need to play through and complete the game to unlock the Critical Competitor trophy, which will also automatically unlock any other difficulty-related trophies you still needed.
