Everybody’s Golf
Everybody's Golf, known as Minna no Golf in Japan, is a golfing simulation game, the twelfth title in the Everybody's Golf series, and the first to be released for the PlayStation 4. Like previous titles in the series, the game uses cartoon-like characters and a more humorous rather than serious style. Players can create and customize their players, as well as free-roam across the courses either on foot or using a golf cart. The game also includes online play.
Everybody's Golf received positive reviews with an average score of 79%, praised for its quirky visuals, accessibility to both new and veteran players, and overall fun, though criticized by some for required grinding for unlockables.
The Platinum for Everybody's Golf is both challenging and time consuming, while also requiring a fair bit of luck. There is a lot to do in the game, including collecting 720 gallery characters, scoring three condors, defeating a revenge character each day for 18 days, and playing around 120 tournaments. However, with enough patience and time, any average player should be able to unlock the Platinum.
Expect anywhere between 60-80 hours for the Platinum, depending on skill and especially luck.
You can start things off by simply playing through the single player game, playing tournaments and eventually reaching Rank 7. Along the way, you will also be playing against VS characters whenever you have enough Victory EXP, earn better clubs to help your score, and participate in Professor Koenji's quiz to work towards the Top Marks trophy. During this step, you'll unlock a number of trophies naturally.
If you are confident in your skills, you can speed up this process by hitting the Square button and selecting Serious mode, which is more challenging but will boost your rewards by 50%, helping you reach those VS characters quicker.
After that, it's time to start grinding. You'll be playing tournaments in order to complete the gallery member collection for the Full House trophy, unlocking and defeating all the Secret VS characters for the Secret Master trophy, complete the fish encyclopaedia for the Walking Encyclopaedia trophy, and a number of other miscellaneous trophies. Be sure to check out the Everybody's Golf trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.
Remember that time, patience, and luck is the key to some of the challenges required. Good luck!
