Medal of Honor: Frontline

Medal of Honor: Frontline is a first-person shooter and the fourth game in the Medal of Honor series. It was first released on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube in 2002, and ported onto the PlayStation 3 in HD in 2010. Players play through linear levels through missions set during World War II, while earning medals by completing certain objectives and requirements.

After participating in the attack on Omaha Beach, Lieutenant James Steven "Jimmy" Patterson is sent on a mission to search for a contact in the Dutch Resistance who may have information on a secret German weapon.

The original Medal of Honor: Frontline on the PlayStation 2 received positive reviews with an average score of 82%, praised for its music, graphics and authenticity, though criticized by some for its simple level design and lack of any online multiplayer.

While the game is not overly time consuming, and there are no online trophies to worry about, Medal of Honor: Frontline does require some decent FPS skills. Two full playthroughs are required, one of which on Hard mode - which is the main reason for the 3-star rating. A Mission Select is available for mopping-up remaining trophies.

Expect anywhere between 20-30 hours, depending on your skills.

We recommend beginning on Easy mode and play through, while attempting to get Gold Medals on each mission. Achieving Gold Medals includes completing each mission with over 75% of your health, and eliminating 95% of the enemies. If you're having trouble, be sure to check out the walkthroughs and Gold Medal mission guides under our Links tab. During this playthrough, you'll unlock the story-related trophies, as well as the gold mission related trophies, and finally both Heavy Medals for earning all gold medals, as well as the Full Frontal trophy for completing the game. Also, there are a number of kill-related trophies you can work on during this playthrough, as well.

Next, start a new game on Hard mode. This needs to be a new game, as going through via Mission Select will NOT unlock the You Still Aren't As Tough As Audie Murphy trophy for completing the game on Hard. The playthrough on Hard mode is no cakewalk, especially for those with minimal FPS experience. Check out our Links tab for tips and advice that might help you out. Also, if possible, you could work on more of those kill-related trophies you still need.

Finally, simply use the Chapter Select to mop up any trophies you still might be missing.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Trophy Guide

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A real-time strategy involving collecting resources and building armies to wipe out the enemy. The offline trophies are more time consuming than difficult, while the online ones are challenging without finding a boosting partner.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

Red Alert 3 is a real-time strategy-based game in which the player takes the role of one of three factions, and must build armies and collect resources to wipe out the enemy or accomplish specifically assigned objectives. The game also features online play, both competitive and co-op.

After the events of Red Alert 2, the Soviets traveled back in time to remove Albert Einstein, stopping the Allies from creating the atomic bomb. As a result, an alternate universe was created in which the Allies, Soviet Union, and now the Empire of the Rising Sun, are fighting for world domination. The game features such actors as Tim Curry, George Takei, and Jonathan Pryce.

This is another game which, if you have a boosting partner, can be lowered to a 2-star difficulty rating. Half of the trophies are offline, and if you're following one of the guides under our Links tab, you shouldn't have too much trouble.

The online trophies, especially considering this game is getting old, may cause some grief - especially as there are few people still playing this game.

You may wish to start with the offline trophies, to acquaint yourself with the game. Eventually, though, you will need a friend to help with the Dynamic Duo trophy, which requires you to play any 18 co-op games together.

Also, you will need to complete each of the 9 missions per faction bonus objective, for their specified faction. If you fail any of these bonus objectives, you can easily reload previous games and try again.

The remaining half of the trophies involve playing ranked or skirmish games online. Again, these are much easier if you have a boosting buddy. We've posted links to a forum under our Links tab where you may be able to find someone willing to help you out.
