Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter, and despite the title, is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series. Set during World War I and based on historical events, players use an assortment of weapons from that era, as well as control vehicles such as tanks, armored trucks, and torpedo boats. The game also includes online multiplayer which supports up to 64 players.

Designed as six separate war stories taking place during events between 1915-1918, players control members of the Harlem Hellfighters who must defend their position against the German invasion in France, participate in the Battle of Cambrai, play as an American pilot, a member of the Italian Arditi unit in Northern Italy, as an Australian messenger during the Gallipoli Campaign, and as a Bedouin rebel working with British intelligence officer T.E. Lawrence.

Battlefield 1 received positive reviews with an average score of 89%, praised for its WWI themed setting, story, and multiplayer mechanics, though criticized by some for the shortness of the single-player campaign.

Unlocking the Platinum is a fairly average feat in terms of both challenge and time required. While the single-player trophies could technically be unlocked in one playthrough, most players will probably do this in two; one on Easy to get the bulk of the trophies, and another on Hard. Completing the game on Hard mode can be challenging at times, but is certainly doable. There are ten online trophies, though these are rather straight forward and do not require boosting.

Expect around 30-35 hours for the Platinum, depending on your first-person shooter skills.

Hard mode is available from the beginning, and if you are confident in your first-person shooter skills, then you could try completing it while also going for the other trophies. However, if you prefer to get warmed-up first, and unlock those miscellaneous trophies while not having to worry about the difficulty, then we recommend completing the single-player campaign in two playthroughs.

If you select to complete the game in two playthroughs, we recommend beginning on Easy mode. Play each of the six stories, while making sure to complete each of their set of challenges in order to unlock all the Codex Entries. Be sure to check out the Battlefield 1 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see which challenges must be met for each set of Codex Entries.

You will also need to find all 66 collectibles in the form of Field Manuals for the Enough For A Library trophy. Lastly, there are also a few kill-related and miscellaneous trophies you’ll want to collect during this first playthrough, as well. Again, check out the Battlefield 1 trophy guide links for more details.

Next, if you haven’t done so already, it’s time for your Hard mode playthrough. This will unlock The War To End All Wars trophy, and will be stacked with The Great War trophy for completing it on Normal.

Finally, there are ten online multiplayer trophies to unlock. Most of these are quite straight forward, and involve ranking up each of the four classes to Rank 2, while also reaching an overall Rank 10. You will also need to win at least one Operation for the Operations trophy, kill an enemy Scout using a bolt action rifle for the Counter-Sniper trophy, and complete 25 Squad Orders for the Play The Objective trophy. For the most part, these do not really require boosting. However, if you are looking for a boosting partner, check out the forums under our Links tab.

Star Wars Battlefront II Trophy Guide

Star Wars Battlefront II Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A first-third person action shooter based on the Star Wars franchise. While the offline trophies are easier than those in the previous installment, the online are just as challenging and time consuming.

Star Wars Battlefront II

Star Wars Battlefront II is a first/third person shooter taking place in the Star Wars Universe, and the fourth major release in the Battlefront series which began on the PC and sixth-generation consoles in 2004. Players are placed in either a team of Rebels or Imperials, in a variety of game modes such as team-deathmatch, defending control points, and a form of capture-the-flag, in a variety of environments based on settings from the Star Wars films. The game includes both a story-driven campaign, as well as online multiplayer.

Taking place between the events of the films Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, Commander Iden Versio who leads the Imperial Special Forces seeks out to avenge the Emperor following his death after the destruction of the Death Star. Though she and her comrades may find themselves on a path they hadn't expected.

Star Wars Battlefront II received widely mixed reviews with an average score of 68%, praised for its beautiful environments and graphics and multiplayer mode, though criticized for its weakened campaign story. The game was also heavily criticized for its initial micro-transactions surrounding loot boxes and unlocking heroes.

While the offline trophies are significantly easier than those on the previous installment, Star Wars Battlefront II is still just as time consuming, as you spend your time online and grind your way to Rank 50. The online trophies are arguably as challenging as those on the first game.

Expect anywhere between 60-100 hours, depending on your skills and some luck.

If you wish to get used to the game and controls, then a good place to start is the Campaign. This can be played on the easiest setting, if you like. Here, you'll earn a number of story-related trophies. In addition, there are a few simple trophies that can be unlocked at various points in the Campaign, such as using the droid to shock three enemies at once for the Dark Forces trophy, or eliminating five enemies using the barrage for the Balance Point trophy. These can either be obtained during your playthrough, or through a chapter select following the campaign. Check out the Star Wars Battlefront II trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details.

Following this, you can then complete the continued campaign through the Resurrection DLC, which is a free add-on to the story and includes three additional story-related trophies. Although these aren't necessary for the Platinum.

After, you can head into Arcade mode to mop-up the remaining offline trophies. Arcade is similar to the online multiplayer mode, only with bots. Here, you can unlock There Is No Such Thing As Luck simply for playing a game, and the Complete Your Training trophy for having played all the Battle Scenarios, which are 8 on the Light Side and 8 on the Dark Side.

Last, it's time to head into multiplayer and unlock the rest of the trophies. Your ultimate goal is to reach Rank 50 to obtain The Force Is Strong With This One trophy, which will take many, many hours of playing. Along this path, you'll want to focus on getting the miscellaneous trophies. These include winning each of the five online modes, getting kills with special weapons unique to the different playable classes, and others. Again, check out the Star Wars Battlefront II trophy guide links under our Links page to see what you need and their requirements.

May the Force be with you.

Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars: Battlefront is a first/third person shooter taking place in the Star Wars Universe, and the third major release in the Battlefront series which began on the PC and sixth-generation consoles in 2004. Players are placed in either a team of Rebels or Imperials, in a variety of game modes such as deathmatch, team-deathmatch, defending control points, and a form of capture-the-flag. With a total of 16 maps, environments include those on the planets Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, Sullust, and Jakku.

Star Wars: Battlefront, though a commercial success, received mixed reviews with an average rating of 73%, praised for its presentation, realistic graphics, and for successfully immersing the player in the Star Wars Universe, but criticized for its lack of content upon release.

This is a high 3-star rating, though it really depends on your skills. The online trophies - to which there are 27 - can't really be boosted, so it's up to you to get good at the game and complete the necessary objectives. Some trophies can be quite difficult and frustrating, such as getting 25 trampled kills with the AT-ST, or defeating both the Millennium Falcon and Slave I, but with enough practice and patience, they can be done. Also, expect to put in a fair number of hours into the game as you make your way to reaching Rank 50.

Expect anywhere between 60-100 hours, depending on your skills and some luck.

This game doesn't require much of a roadmap, though we do recommend getting your feet wet by playing through some of the offline content before heading online. This includes all the tutorial missions - which will unlock the Do Or Do Not, There Is No Try trophy, as well as all the training, battle, and survival missions. There are a number of easy trophies you can earn here, such as for not taking damage in the Endor Chase mission for the Safety Ain't The Point Of A Joyride trophy, or for destroying 10 TIE fighters in 2 minutes on the Begger's Canyon mission for the Best Star Pilot In The Galaxy trophy.

Not all the offline trophies are easy, however. Those related to completing Survival missions on Master difficulty are extremely challenging on your own, and we recommend holding off until you have a partner to help you.

After that, it's time to head into Online play. Your ultimate goal is to reach Rank 50, which will take a very long time. As we mentioned, there is no real roadmap to success. Our advice, however, is to focus on one particular trophy and play only that mode until it's unlocked. So if you're going after the Hold The Line trophy, then just keep playing rounds of Supremacy until the trophy unlocks, before moving onto another trophy/mode. The more you play the same modes and maps, the more familiar you'll be and increase your chances of success. This is just our advice, however. Also, be sure to check out the trophy guides in our Links page to see what trophies you need and their requirements.

Eventually you will need to make some friends to help you earn the Together We Can Rule The Galaxy trophy, as well as assist you in completing the Survival missions on Master difficulty. check out the boosting forums in our Links page if you're struggling to get social.

Good luck, and May the Force Be With You!
