Christmas is less than a month away, and Sony has already revealed their gifts for the holiday. And so, here is the PlayStation Plus free games December 2024 line-up games which will be available for download on Tuesday, December 3.

First, for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s the cooperative adventure title It Takes Two, developed by Hazelight Studios. Play either online or with a friend locally, as two parents who have transformed into dolls and must make their way back to their daughter – as well as figure out how to change back into humans.

Next, also for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s Aliens: Dark Descent developed by Tindalos Interactive and based on the Aliens franchise. Taking place nearly 20 years following the events of the original trilogy films, where a cargo ship releases deadly Xenomorphs onto a colonized moon. The game uses real-time tactics from a top-down perspective, where players send out commands to a squad of colonial marines.

Lastly, for the PS5, there’s Temtem, the MMORPG developed by Crema. Inspired by the Pokemon series, players capture Temtem creatures and use them to battle against either NPCs or other online players.

All three titles in the PlayStation Plus free games December 2024 line-up have platinum trophies to unlock.

Among them, It Takes Two is by far the easiest and quickest platinum to obtain. However, keep in mind that the game is designed for two players, either split-screen or online, which means you will need a boosting partner to help you out. Yet, as long as you have a friend to play with, you can expect only around 15-20 hours of gameplay, depending on both yours and your partner’s skills.

Obtaining the platinum for Temtem is about average in terms of difficulty. However, as an MMORPG, you can expect a lot of grinding to do. Specifically, expect at least 60-70 hours of gameplay for this one.

Lastly, Aliens: Dark Descent as a slightly above-average platinum to unlock, mainly due to a trophy requiring you to complete nightmare mode. This platinum will require at least two playthroughs, and around 60 hours of gameplay.
