Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2010

In a line of games within the same series, Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 is a first-person "hunting" shooter - a cross between Call of Duty and Afrika. In the main story mode, you join a hunting group as a junior member, working your way through a probationary period. Once you've proven yourself, you're off to hunt bears and lions.

Due to the unpopularity of this game, there aren't many reviews available - though a few we've found had an average rating of about 70%.

Not as time consuming as Afrika, many of the trophies in Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 are either story-based, or as simple as hitting the L1 button 10 times (literally!)

There's not real trick to acquiring the platinum for this game. Simply start it up and make your way through the missions. Check out the Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 trophy guide links under our Links tab for clues to claiming specific trophies in particular missions.

If you've missed anything - don't worry. Once a mission is completed, you're free to go back and try again, which comes in handy when you're trying to get a Gold.

Cabela’s Adventure Camp Trophy Guide

Cabela’s Adventure Camp Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *   A set of camp-related mini-games that use the PlayStation Move controller. An easy Platinum that can be unlocked in just a few hours.

Cabela’s Adventure Camp

Aiming at the younger players, Adventure Camp is like an amusement park and summer camp blended together with a mix of activities, including wave riding, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, and many more to challenge other campers and with that Cabela Cup.

The game is interactive, making use of the PlayStation Eye and Move controller.

Like most (if not all) of the games in the Cabela's series, Adventure Camp is an easy platinum which shouldn't take more than just a few hours to complete. There's nothing online, and all the trophies are "camp-game" related, which you can select from a list, so there's nothing missable.

NOTE: A PlayStation Move controller and Eye is required for this game.

Make sure that when you start the game, you have a "female" character, so that you can earn the Girlz Rule! Trophy. Then select Cabela's Cup and after playing "Hunter, Bear, Ninja," start making your way through the list of games until you've unlocked the Camp Star trophy.

Afterwards, head back into the main menu and select Play!, then go through the remaining games until you've unlocked the Girlz Rule! trophy. After that, it's just a matter of mopping up any trophies you've missed along the way.

Due to the unpopularity of the game, there aren't too many guides or walkthroughs out there - not that they're entirely necessary. But we have found you a few.

Cabela’s African Adventures

Cabela's African Adventures is a third-person hunting video game that takes place across four free-roaming maps within Africa in five different biomes. Players travel either on foot or by truck while hunting for the Big Five: lion, leopard, white rhino, elephant, and Cape buffalo.

Cabela's African Adventures received little attention upon release, and those critics who did provide reviews gave an average score of 54%, praised for its okay graphics and enjoyable hunting experiences expected from Cabela's titles, while criticized for its glitches and being overall mediocre.

If you've played any other games in the Cabela's series, you'll know they aren't particularly difficult nor time consuming, and Cabela's African Adventures is no exception. This low 2-star rating is mainly due to some of the trickier trophies, such as those related to the gallery. Also, there is no mission select, which means you'll need to get familiar with the trophies and knock them out during your playthrough on story mode, in order to avoid anything missable. Finally, the game can be a bit glitchy at times, causing a few trophies to be a bit more challenging than they actually are.

Expect roughly 15-25 hours for the platinum, depending on whether you'll need a second playthrough or not.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS3 version have a separate list than those on the PS4.

If you wish to avoid complications or having to do a second playthrough, we recommend striving to unlock nearly all the trophies on your first playthrough. The only trophies you needn't worry about for now are the 3 shooting gallery related ones, which are Controlled Fire, Efficiency To The Max, and Real Mix.

So, with the exception of those three, as well as the story-related trophies which you'll unlock naturally, get familiar with the remaining trophies by reading up on their requirements in the Cabela's African Adventures trophy guides in our Links page, to know when and where to unlock them. The No Scratch trophy, for example, which requires you to complete all story missions in a region without dying, is obviously easiest on the first region. Also, there are a number of trophies that can be earned related to the hyenas, so try to get them out the way when you encounter them. There are also a few trophies that need to be unlocked during the 6 stealth missions.

You'll also need to find all the Vistas and Fossils, so check out the maps in our Links page. We recommend finding all of them at each opportunity within each region, to make things easier. The gold Achiever trophy requires you to have found everything, as well as completed the two bonus hunts and the story missions.

After having completed the story mode and hopefully unlocked nearly all the trophies, all that should be left are the three gallery-related trophies, which can all be unlocked in the first gallery level. These are arguably the trickiest trophies in the game and can be considered somewhat luck-based. Just stay patient and keep trying, and you'll get them.

Happy hunting!
