Buzz! Brain of the UK
The eighth title in the Buzz! Series, and the second on the PlayStation 3, Buzz! Brain of the UK is a quiz game focusing on the United Kingdom, such as history, film, TV, sports, etc.
Like its predecessors, the game uses its own "buzzer" controllers. Games can be played with up to 8 players at home, as well as online. The game also includes the MyBuzz! feature, which allows players to create their own set of questions online, as well as play those created by others.
This game originally had a rating of 3-stars, due to the time consumption involved in the online trophies. However, as of August 2013, the servers were shut down on all Buzz! Quiz games, including Buzz! Brain of the UK. Therefore, the game's 7 online trophies can no longer be acquired, which means the Platinum is now Not Obtainable.
As we mentioned earlier, the online servers went down in August of 2013. However, if you still wish to collect the offline trophies, here are some tips.
If you've played the original Buzz! Quiz TV on the PlayStation 3 and acquired the Platinum, then you probably won't need any hints or tips, for the trophies are identical. But if this is your first time, then here are some strategies to help you gain 100%.
For the most part, you'll just be playing game after game, winning as much as possible.
Remember to keep track of which characters you use - all of them are needed for the Casting Agent trophy - and play each of the channels for the Channel Hopper.
For the multiplier trophies, just plug in 2 buzzers and mash buttons.
For Lightening Reactions, keep hitting the same colored button over and over. Eventually you'll get the right combination - and trophy.
