Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising 2 is a sandbox-style survival horror developed by Blue Castle Games (now Capcom Vancouver) and published by Capcom, and is a sequel to Dead Rising which was released exclusively on the Xbox 360. The game includes online co-op as well as an added "Terror Is Reality" multiplayer mode.

Five years after the first game, and taking place in the fictional casino town Fortune City, players control Chuck Greene, a contestant on the sports entertainment program Terror Is Reality in which people attempt to kill the most number of zombies. But something goes wrong, and Chuck is forced to find safety along with his daughter Katey, who constantly requires a supply of Zombrex to hold back her infection. Players venture through the zombie-infested Fortune City to find supplies of Zombrex while helping survivors, dealing with psychopaths and other hazards, within a set time limit before the military arrives.

Dead Rising 2 received positive reviews, with an average score of 82% for its vast assortment of challenges and things to do, giving the game a high replay value.

The game will require a number of playthroughs, three at the least, one of which must be online in co-op mode. If you have a friend or boosting partner, then the co-op play is less complicated and easier to get through. Otherwise, if you have to search for a partner each time you play, this 3-star rating difficulty raises from a low to a high.

The majority of the trophies consist of random challenges, such as finding all gifts for Katey, using every type of weapon, or change into all pieces of clothing. It can be challenging to collect all of these trophies in one playthrough, particularly if you're on co-op. This is why we say three playthroughs is the minimum.

Expect to spend well over 50 hours on this game.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

The game is meant to be replayed several times, and so each time you restart, all your level stats, skills, money, as well as the majority of challenges for working towards trophies (such as clothing worn or weapons created) will be carried over into your next playthrough. Inventory, number of zombies killed, and gifts for Katey, will not. Just something to keep in mind.

If possible, it's best to get the co-op out of the way. For your first playthrough, do so online while completing all the case files. The psychopaths during the Overtime stages may prove difficult depending on your level, but if your partner is strong, then by all means go ahead and get them out of the way.

For another playthrough, you should focus only on rescuing all the survivors. This will require a bit of planning, so check out the Survivors Timeline under our Links tab.

Your third and following playthroughs will be where you collect all the miscellaneous trophies. This should also include Zombie Genocide Master, in which you kill 72,000 zombies in one playthrough. For these miscellaneous trophies, check out the Dead Rising 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab for tips and strategies.

Bigs 2 Trophy Guide

Bigs 2

Bigs 2, also known as Bigs 2 Baseball in Europe and Australia, is a baseball game licensed by the Major League Baseball organization. The game features an arcade-like over-the-top style, with a focus on visuals and styles rather than realism. Players function as both general managers with the ability to trade, draft, and manage activities, as well as control players on the field. New features include a new battling system, the Big Slam mechanic that allows the player to bring four consecutive batters up, and the Become a Legend mode where a created player in the Mexican League is recovering from an injury and making their way to Legendary Status.

Bigs 2 received positive reviews with an average score of 80%, praised for its fast-paced gameplay and over-the-top arcade style, as well as for its overall fun, though criticized by some for its poor online mode connections and lack of baseball fundamentals.

Bigs 2 was first released in July 2009, and includes two online trophies. After years of connection problems with the PlayStation 3's version of the online mode, the servers were eventually shut down in Spring of 2013. As a result, the two online trophies - and therefore the Platinum trophy - are now Not Obtainable.

Bigs 2 includes two online trophies: Cross-Continental Success for winning one online match, and 10 Times The Fun for winning 10 ranked online matches. Unfortunately, the servers were closed in Spring of 2013, which means these two online trophies - as well as the Platinum trophy - are Not Obtainable. However, the game still has 35 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're interested, then read on.

We recommend beginning with the Become a Legend mode, as it includes a tutorial for the game that will help teach you the controls and mechanics. Going through and completing this mode will earn you the eight story-related trophies, including the Become A Legend gold trophy upon completion. You should also naturally unlock a number of other trophies during this process, as well. Take note however, that the Legendary Strikeout trophy is missable. Make sure that when you are pitching against Babe Ruth towards the end of the game, you strike him out. If you fail to strike him out after the first two games, quit and retry until you do. Otherwise, completing the Become a Legend mode without this trophy will mean having to start over.

Next, head into Season mode, where you will be focusing on unlocking the Power Derby Winner trophy for winning three rounds in the Power Derby by hitting all the targets and activating the Big Blast, the You Are The Champions trophy for winning the World Series with a seas score of 1 million, and the Best Season Ever trophy for matching all the Legendary Milestones. Be sure to check the Bigs 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details, particularly for that last trophy. During this process, you can also work on unlocking some of the other miscellaneous trophies.

Next, head into the Home Run Pinball mode, where you need to unlock its eight related trophies. Again, check out the guides for further details.

After that, it's simply a matter of mopping-up what's left. Most likely, this will include the Power Struggle trophy for winning a game on Super Hard mode. Unfortunately, with the online servers shut down, this is as far as we can go.
