Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Revelations is the fourth game in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to Brotherhood, completing the Ezio trilogy. It is a third-person action adventure with stealth elements, and features all three of the major characters in the story - Desmond Miles, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and Altair ibn-La"Ahad - and features a multiplayer mode.

After the events of Brotherhood, Desmond Miles has fallen into a coma due to the stress of being forced to kill Lucy Stillman. He is transported to New York and placed into the Animus by Rebecca Crane and Desmond's father. After awakening on Animus Island, Desmond meets the consciousness of Subject Sixteen, who guides him in reliving his ancestor's memories in an attempt to separate him from Ezio and thereby awaken from his coma.

Like Assassin's Creed games in the past, Revelations received very positive reviews, with an average score of 82%, and has been named by some critics as the best in the series thus far.

If you've played previous AC games, we can compare Revelations by saying that it's certainly easier to platinum than Brotherhood, though a tad more time consuming than Assassin's Creed II. Like Brotherhood, Revelations possesses some online trophies, though are much easier to obtain.

Note: An online pass is required, which comes with your game. If you purchases Assassin's Creed: Revelations used, than you must either make do with a free 3-day trial or purchase the pass.

NOTE: The Trophies on the PS3 version have a separate list than those on the PS4.

The Platinum can be obtained in three steps: playthrough, mop-up, multiplayer.

Like the previous Assassin's Creed games, there are no missable trophies. So you can enjoy playing through from beginning to end, collecting any trophies you like. Once the story is finished, you are free to roam about, where you can mop-up anything you've missed.

Afterwards, there are the multiplayer trophies. As we mentioned earlier, you will need a Uplay pass to play online. If you've purchased Revelations as a new game, than the code for multiplayer comes free. If you've bought your copy used, than you must either collect all the online trophies during the free 3-day trial (which is very possible) or pay to get online. The online trophies are easier than in Brotherhood, hence the 2-star rating. Focus on playing one match for each mode, then simply collect the other trophies as you make your way towards level 20. See the trophy guides in our Links page for specific details.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations PS4

Assassin's Creed Revelations is the fourth game in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to Brotherhood, completing the Ezio trilogy. It is a third-person action adventure with stealth elements, and features all three of the major characters in the story - Desmond Miles, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and Altair ibn-La"Ahad. The game was originally released on the PlayStation 3 in 2011, and ported onto the PlayStation 4 in November 2016 as part of The Ezio Collection.

While the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed Revelations includes the Lost Archive DLC as a requirement for the Platinum, the online trophies have been removed. As a result, the Platinum for this game isn't as time consuming as its PS3 version. However, now that the Impress Warren Vidic and Cross Styx Without Dying trophies have been included as a requirement for the platinum, this difficulty rating is a high 2-star, as these two trophies can be quite challenging and frustrating - though still doable with enough trial and error.

Expect roughly 30-35 hours for the platinum, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The Trophies on the PS4 version have a separate list than those on the PS3.

The Platinum can be obtained in three steps: playthrough, mop-up, The Lost Archive.

Like the original Assassin's Creed: Revelations on the PS3, there are no missable trophies. So you can enjoy playing through from beginning to end, collecting any trophies you like. Once the story is finished, you are free to roam about, where you can mop-up anything you've missed.

Afterwards, there are The Lost Archive trophies, which were originally a separate DLC on the PS3 version. Play through all seven memories, and if you wish to save time, follow one of the walkthroughs in our Links page to locate the decipher fragments for the Find All Pieces trophy. After that, just reload whichever memory you're still missing a trophy on. This will probably include both the Impress Warren Vidic and Cross Styx Without Dying, which will take many, many tries. Check out the video demonstrations in our Links page if you're having trouble.
