MotoGP 14

MotoGP 14 is a Grand Prix motorcycle racing game and based on the 2014 MotoGP World Championship. The game includes all circuits, teams, and riders, as well as all three classes including Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP. The game utilizes a new sound and graphics engine, as well as revamped physics. In addition to the single player career, championship, Grand Prix, and time attack modes, the game also includes a Scenario Mode where players compete in races based on specific MotoGP events from the past. Also included is a 12-player online mode.

MotoGP 14 received positive reviews with an average score of 74%, praised for its overall improvement over the previous installment, content, and its multiplayer function, though criticized for lacking in improvements in graphics on eighth generation consoles, its sharp learning curve, and technical issues.

MotoGP 14's has arguably one of the easier Platinum trophies in the game. Most of the trophies will unlock naturally as you progress through the Career mode, which can be played on Easy mode. There are three missable trophies which, as long as you race with a particular bike, can easily be unlocked. There are five online trophies which, with the exception of one, are simply for playing and completing online races without requiring actual winning.

Expect roughly around 25 hours for the Platinum, depending on skills and previous racing game experience.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3 and PS Vita.

If you wish to make things easier, head into options and set the game to Easy mode. In addition, you can also select full racing assists, no penalty timer, maximum of six replays, and the shortest race length. You can start by racing through Moto3, the first of three offline Championships. If you're playing on Easy mode, then this shouldn't be particularly difficult. You will unlock a good chunk of trophies naturally as you make your way through Moto3.

Next, it's time to work through Moto2, the second Championship. Completing this should not only unlock the At The Court Of The Champions trophy for signing a contract with a MotoGP team, as well as grant you all the helmets necessary for the Fasten Your Helmet trophy upon reaching level 24.

After that, it's time to complete MotoGP, the third and final Championship. This is where you will need to unlock the three missable trophies. If you wish to avoid running through the Championship three times, then back up your save either to the PS+ Cloud or a USB drive, then sign a contract with one of the three teams, win the next race to unlock its respective trophy, then reload your save. Rinse and repeat until you have unlocked the Ducati Love, Honda Love, and Yamaha Love trophies.

After completing the three Championships, it's time to mop-up the remaining offline trophies. This will include completing the 34 challenges in the Challenge the Champions mode and Real Event mode, and possibly a few others for performing wheelies, etc. Be sure to check out the MotoGP 14 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're still missing, and their requirements.

At any point, you can hop into multiplayer to unlock the five online trophies. Your ultimate goal will be getting the Online Expert trophy for completing 25 races, though hopefully you should also unlock the Split Time Dominator trophy for winning a Split Times race, as well as the other remaining online trophies, along the way. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a first-person shooter and the eleventh installment in the Call of Duty series. Players can perform Exo movements which allow for dashing, boosting, and making high jumps. Rather than a traditional heads-up display, information is given to the player through holographic projects. The game also includes online multiplayer and an Exo Survival co-op mode.

Set in 2054, Jackson "Jack" Mitchell is a Private First Class soldier who is discharged from military service after a mission goes bad. He is then offered a job by one of the largest private military contractors in the world.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its story, game and combat mechanics, and for being a welcome departure from other games in the series with its future setting and high-tech gadgets.

If you have experience unlocking Platinums on other Call of Duty titles, then you'll probably find Advanced Warfare one of the easiest in the series. The game can be completed in one playthrough if Veteran mode is selected, with a chapter select to mop-up remaining offline trophies. The difficulty of the Exo Survival co-op mode entirely depends on both yours, and your team's, skills. Overall, a fairly average Platinum in terms of both time and challenge.

Expect around 20-25 hours for the Platinum, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

If you're in a rush for the Platinum and wish to avoid two playthroughs, then start your game on Veteran difficulty, which is the hardest mode. If you have experience playing the difficult mode on other Call of Duty games, than Vetaran on Advanced Warfare shouldn't pose too much of a challenge.

During your playthrough, you may wish to collect all 45 pieces of Intel for both the History In The Making and Ferrum Absconseum trophies, simply to save time later. Check out the locations guides under our Links tab for help with this.

There are also a few level-specific trophies which, if you want, you can work on during your initial playthrough. Check out the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. However, keep in mind that nothing is missable, and so these level-specific trophies can be obtained later using the chapter select.

Once you've finished the campaign on Veteran difficulty, it's time to use the chapter select and mop-up all the remaining miscellaneous offline trophies. Again, check out the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare trophy guide links under the Links tab to see what you're still missing and their requirements.

With that all done, it's time to collect the remaining five online trophies, where you'll be teamed up with other co-op players and fight your way through waves of enemies. The difficulty of this entirely depends on both yours, and your teammates, skills. With good co-op partners, it's possible to unlock these remaining trophies in just a few hours. If you're looking for some partners, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness Trophy Guide

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness *** 41 tri-Ace Japan 22 16 2 0 0

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, is a sci-fi action RPG and the fifth major installment in the Star Ocean series, following after Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Similar to previous games in the series, players control one of seven party members in real-time battle sequences, with the ability to switch between characters. New to the series is the ability to craft items, and improvements to the AI.

The story is set in SD 537 (2623 AD) between the events of The Second Story and Till the End of Time, on the planet Faykreed located 6,000 light years from Earth, where first contact has been made by visitors from an advanced race, throwing the planet into a civil war. Meanwhile, a mysterious young girl has been found from the wreckage of a crashed spaceship.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 58%, praised for its story, engaging characters, and fun gameplay, though criticized for technical issues and lack of polish.

If you've played other games in the Star Ocean series, then you should have a good idea of what's expected. Overall, Integrity and Faithlessness is a little easier than its predecessor, The Last Hope. However, three full playthroughs are required, on of which on its hardest difficulty mode, and plenty of farming to do. Like many J-RPG titles, the 3-star difficulty rating is more for the time involved, rather than skills required.

Expect around 110-120 hours for the Platinum.

NOTE: While the trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3, the PS3 version is only in Japanese.

You will need to do three playthroughs, as the difficulty-related trophies do not stack. Start your playthrough on Earth mode, which is the easiest. Start by playing till about 80% of the game. Along the way, keep note of the following missable trophies: My Reaction When for using an emote during a cutscene, Boss Of The Bestiary for encountering every enemy, and Compendium Completionist for cataloguing all 623 items. Check out the Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details on these. Although you'll be doing two more playthroughs later, we recommend getting these now just so you won't need to worry about them.

Eventually, after about 80% into the story, you'll be on a ship in your private quarters to sleep, when you'll receive a warning that you'll be approaching the end, and ask if you wish to proceed. At this point, make a back-up file. This way, after you've completed the game and witnessed one of the endings, you can reload and view the next one. Rinse and repeat until you've viewed all six different endings, and gotten each of their respective trophies.

After that, you'll want to work on all the other miscellaneous trophies, except for those related to playing on the harder levels. This should include Boss OF The Bestiary trophy, Consummate Combatant for obtaining al battle trophies, acquiring all battle skills and spells for the Supernal Aspirations trophy, and a few others. Again, check out the Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're still missing and their requirements.

Next, start a second playthrough, this time on Universal mode. Here is your chance to mop-up any missable trophies you couldn't unlock during your first playthrough. Completing this playthrough will unlock both The Legend Begins for starting a second playthrough, and Universally Renowned for completing Univeral mode.

Finally, it's time for one more playthrough, this time on Chaos difficulty. For the most part, Chaos shouldn't prove to be very difficult except for a few bosses. Completing this will unlock the Survivor Of Chaos trophy, and hopefully, the Platinum trophy as well.

Sleeping Dogs

Sleeping Dogs is a third-person action adventure, set in an open world. The game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, then ported onto the PS4 and Xbox One with improved audio-visual quality and gameplay in 2014 as the Definitive Edition. Players navigate through the open world to take on missions, as well as side missions and other activities such as street races or fights in martial arts clubs. Experience points are earned, which can be used to upgarde the player-character's skills, as well as unlock cosmetic items such as new vehicles or outfits.

Wei Shen is a former San Francisco police officer, now working for the Hong Kong Police Force. His task is to go undercover to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organization.

Sleeping Dogs received positive reviews with an average score of 79%, praised for its combat system, open-world environment, AI system, voice acting, and engaging characters, though criticized by some for its linear missions and repetitiveness.

The Platinum for Sleeping Dogs is not particularly difficult, only requires a little time. The game is open world, which features a free roam even when the main story is complete, and so nothing is missable. There are plenty of collectibles to find, but the game graciously keeps track of everything you've found and marks them on the map. In the end, the Platinum needs only a little time and a little effort.

Expect roughly 25-30 hours for the Platinum.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS3 have a separate list from those on the PS4 Definitive Edition.

It should first be noted that while the DLC trophies are separate from the Platinum on the PS3 version, they are bundled together on the PS4's Defenitive Edition, and so will need to be unlocked for the Platinum. Start by simply playing through the game, completing the 30 story missions and other various activities which will pop-up on your map. You'll also want to grab any collectibles you find along the way in the form of Health Shrines, Security Cameras, and Lockboxes. The game keeps track of all collectibles found and will be marked on your map.

Also, during your playthrough, you'll want to try to get as much Triad and Cop XP as possible, just to make things easier later on when working towards the Ultimate Fighter and Super Cop trophies. This is done by using a variety of melee combat moves, getting headshots, disarms, and environmental kills. Also, certain clothing sets which you can unlock later in the game, will reward extra XP.

It should also be noted that once you reach Face Level 10, you'll unlock a perk which grants a 40% discount on all purchases, such as clothing and cars. So if you wish to avoid any grinding for money later on, it's a good idea to save as much as you can and wait until until you've unlocked that perk.

Once that's done, it's time to mop-up the random miscellaneous things. This includes finding all the collectibles, performing any remaining favors, jobs, and dug busts, as well as coming in first in all races. There are a few other various trophies you can unlock at this stage as well, such as killing someone with a first for the A Slap In The Face trophy, trying 10 different foods or drinks for the Foodie trophy, or cruise for 2 minutes over 60 km/h without damaging your care for the Safe Driver trophy. Check out the Sleeping Dogs trophy guide links under our Links tab to see which miscellaneous trophies you need and their requirements.

Also, if you're playing the Definitive Edition on the PS4, then this would be the time to complete all the DLC missions, which will be marked in orange on your map. For the Definitive Edition, these are required for the Platinum.

Next, it's time to work towards getting 100% game completion for the Chief Inspector trophy, as well as finish purchasing all vehicles for the Auto Enthusiast trophy, and all clothing for the Fashion Victim trophy. Again, the PS4 Definitive Edition includes the bundled DLC clothing and vehicles, which will need to be purchased for the Platinum.

By this point, if you don't have enough XP to reach Level 10 for both the Triad and Cop upgrades, then now is the time to replay story missions and do some grinding. Again, remember that certain clothing outfits will earn extra XP depending on the mission.

Game Name Difficulty Trophies Developer Country Bronze Silver Gold Online DLC
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove ** 38 Yacht Club Games U.S. 28 3 6 0 4

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer, inspired by classic third-generation titles. Players defeat enemies and bosses by using a shovel in either a forward attack or by jumping and thrusting downward. The shovel is also used for digging to find treasures. Money is earned throughout the game, which can be spent on upgrades and secondary items.

In a series of campaigns, Shovel Knight is an adventurer who, alongside his beloved Shield Knight, battles such evils as the Enchantress and Plague Knight.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove received positive reviews with an average score of 90%, praised for its innovative and fresh gameplay, graphics, and soundtrack. The game also won several Game of the Year awards in 2014.

This is a high 2-star difficulty, as some of the trophies can be quite challenging. While the Platinum can technically be unlocked in 2 playthroughs, most players will need at least 3 or 4 to make things easier. There are collectibles to find, and a speed-run playthrough to perform. Though the most difficult trophy will be for clearing the game without dying. While the game is certainly doable for any average player, a lot of patience is required to ease the frustration at times.

Expect anywhere between 15-25 hours, depending on your skills and how many playthroughs you perform. NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3 and PS Vita.

While the Platinum can technically be earned in 2 playthroughs, we recommend at least 3, if not 4, to spare the frustration. Though of course, the choice is yours.

You'll first want to play through the game from beginning to end, learning the controls, and either finding or purchasing all the collectibles in the form of song scrolls, relics, equipment, and upgrades. There are also some miscellaneous trophies you can unlock as well, so be sure to check out the Shovel Knight Treasure Trove trophy guide links under our Links tab.

If you want to reduce the number of playthroughs, then you can also go for the Impossible trophy for completing your first playthrough without dying, which will also in turn unlock the Perfect Platformer trophy. If your plan is to get the Platinum in only 2 playthroughs, then you'll need to do the speed run for the Hurry Up trophy first, which means getting all the collectibles in your second playthrough, as Hurry Up cannot be done on a New Game+.

For your next playthrough, start a New Game+ on your previoius save to unlock the Again trophy. Since you already got all the collectibles and upgrades in your previous playthrough, you can now finish the game without spending any money for the Penny Pincher trophy. If you're avoiding playthroughs, then you could also try to complete the game while avoiding Relicks for the True Shovelry trophy, and any other miscellaneous trophies you missed in your first playthrough.

If you're taking your time and only went for the Penny Pincher trophy in your second playthrough, then now is the time to start a third, where you'll be going for the Hurry Up and True Shovelry trophy. The Hurry Up trophy must be done on a new game, and NOT a New Game+. To make things easier, make extra saves after each stage which you can then reload if you feel your time wasn't quick enough. Completing the game in under an hour and a half is certainly doable, but does not leave much room for error, either.

After that, if there are any trophies still missing, then now is the time to mop them up. Check out the Shovel Knight Treasure Trove trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what trophies you're still missing and their requirements.
