The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is a third-person point-and-click graphic adventure, based ont he comic book series by Robert Kirkman. The game is the third installment in Telltale’s The Walking Dead series. Similar to previous titles in the series, players solve puzzles, interact with other characters, and make choices which can impact future events in the story.
Javier “Javi” Garcia is a former baseball player who, along with this sister in-law and her two children, are on the road following the start of the zombie apocalypse. After getting separated from his brother’s family, Javi meets Clementine, who agrees to help him rescue his family.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier received generally positive reviews for each episode, with an overall total average score of 77%, praised for its updated game engine, colorful new cast of characters, and engaging story, while criticized for the shortness of some episodes, and receiving mixed reviews regarding Clementine’s shift from protagonist to supporting character.
Like many of the more recent Telltale Games, the trophies in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier are all story-related. This means that by simply playing through the game from start to finish, and regardless which choices are made, the Platinum will automatically unlock at the end of the final episode.
Expect around 8-9 hours to get the through all five episodes and unlock the Platinum.
For the Platinum, there are no collectibles to find, no strategic saves to make, and no specific choices to be made.
Simply load up the game and play from episode to episode, making any choices you wish. All trophies are story-related.
After you’ve completed Chapter 6 of Episode 5 at the end of the game, the Platinum will automatically unlock.
