Jeopardy!
Jeopardy! (2012) is a quiz game based on the popular American TV show. The game was first released in 2010 for the Nintendo Wii, then ported onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 two years after. Similar to the TV show, players select categories and monetary values, then are given an answer to which players must select the correct question. Up to 3 players can join locally, or both public and private online matches.
Jeopardy!, while very few online magazines critiqued the game, received an average score of 76%, praised for its ability to recreate the show, having Alex Trebek voice-act as and host the game, as well as for its commercial-like mini-games.
Regardless how good you are at trivia, the platinum for this game isn't very difficult. We have a site which allows you to search for the correct answers (or questions, rather) in our Links page. The 2-star difficulty is more for the time consumption, as you will need to win 50 games for one trophy, which can be very long and tedious. Also, there are two online trophies to consider.
Overall, expect between 30-40 hours of gameplay and grinding for the Platinum.
NOTE: You will need either 2 controllers for some trophies, or a friend online to boost with.
Since the difficulty-mode related trophies are stackable, we recommend starting on Hard to get it out of the way. The 'questions' will need to be entered manually rather than multiple choice, and the AI will buzz in quicker. You only need to win one game, after which you can continue playing on Easy.
You'll next want to play a few games and focus on earning an accumulation of $1 million. This won't take too long, especially if you're using the J! Archive in our Links page to find all the correct 'questions.' You'll also be naturally unlocking a large portion of the trophies in the process.
Once that's finished, we recommend getting the two online trophies out of the way. For the Challenge Accepted trophy, you will need to host the game. And for Welcome To The Winner's Circle, you will need to win an online match. If you're having trouble finding people to play with, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.
Finally, you can start mopping-up what trophies you're still missing. This will undoubtedly include the Jeopardy Master trophy, which requires 50 wins. Not a difficult trophy, but long and grinding.
