Resistance 3
Resistance 3 is a first-person shooter, set in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic genre. The game takes place in an alternate universe, in which aliens have invaded Earth during World War II. Also included is a 16-player competitive multiplayer, and both an online and offline co-op mode.
Taking place four years after the events of Resistance 2, Joseph Capelli has been dishonorably discharged from SPRA after executing Nathan Hale, and is currently suriviving in an underground outpost with his wife and child. After the outpost is evacuated due to a Terraformer, Capelli decides to accompany Dr Malikov to New York in an attempt to stop the Chimera once and for all.
Resistance 3 received positive reviews, with an average score of 84% for its overall suspense and excitement.
As you can tell by the 2-star rating, this Platinum is far easier than its predecessor. If you've managed to collect all the offline trophies on Resistance 2, then you would have had the Platinum by now on Resistance 3.
Aside from two co-op trophies, which can be played with a second controller, Resistance 3 has no online trophies. Requires two full playthroughs, one of them on Superhuman difficulty, and using a chapter select to mop-up. Overall, depending on your FPS skills, expect around 30 hours to complete.
What you'll want to do first is start on Normal playthrough. Along the way, follow one of the guides in our Links page to locate all the intel for the Archivalist trophy. Also, there are several chapter-related trophies which you can earn, as well as working towards the kill-related ones. If you don't collect them by the end, it's no problem. There's always a chapter select to mop-up anything you missed.
After completing Normal, you will have unlocked Superhuman mode. Your next assignment is to get through Superhuman difficulty, for the Brutal trophy. This will probably be your most difficult trophy.
After that, it's simply a matter of using chapter select to mop-up anything you're still missing. Check out the Resistance 3 trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details to whatever trophies you need.
