LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is a third-person adventure platformer in the LEGO video game franchise, and based on the last four films in the Harry Potter series. Players explore, solve puzzles, collect LEGO pieces, and cast unlockable spells as well as make potions. A two-player mode is included, while the online multiplayer mode is not featured.
Following the storyline of the last four Harry Potter films, the player-characters deal with the Ministry of Magic, search for the Horcruxes, and eventually face Voldemort.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 77%, praised for its replay value, humorous cutscenes, and overall fun.
This title isn't any more or less difficult than LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, and just as time consuming. Just play through the game, repeat in a second playthrough to find all the collectibles, then mop-up any missing trophies.
Expect around 25 hours to complete.
NOTE: The Trophies on the PS3 version have a separate list from those on the PS4.
For the most part, you can start by simply playing the game from start to finish, unlocking red bricks along the way. There is one missable trophy to look out for, however, which is Hogwarts Has Changed. Towards the end of the game, specifically between the levels Magic is Might and In Grave Danger, make sure to use the map in the tent to Hogwarts, for the trophy to unlock.
Once you've gone through the story, you can repeat the process in Free Play mode. This time, with more characters at your disposal, you'll want to seek out all the collectibles, which includes the students in peril, character tokens, and Hogwarts crests. Check out the LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 trophy guide links under our Links tab to help you out, as many of these will require a fair bit of searching.
Lastly, you can go ahead and complete the bonus levels, and mop-up anything you're still missing.
