Spring is here – for some of us, at least – and with it comes the next line-up of free-to-play titles for PlayStation Plus members, available for download on Tuesday, April 4.
For the PlayStation 4, there’s the brand-new title Drawn To Death developed by The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, a third-person shooter in a four-player arena that takes place in the pages of a teenager’s notebook. And Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, developed by Asteroid Base, where players fly a neon spaceship through a colorful galaxy to rescue kidnapped space-bunnies, playing either single or with up to three players.
On the PlayStation 3, there’s Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom, based on the Invizimals series which began on the PSP in 2009 and has exploded into a franchise with toys, comics, trading cards, and an animated series. And, Alien Rage: Extended Edition, the sci-fi first-person shooter involving an elite soldier named Jack on a mission to destroy the aliens infesting a mining facility.
Finally, for the PlayStation Vita, there’s 10 Second Ninja, a fast-paced side-scroller in which players must complete each level in ten seconds or less. And Curses ‘n Chaos, a 2D arena-brawler where players fight off waves of enemies in melee combat. Both 10 Second Ninja and Curses ‘n Chaos are cross-plat with the PS4.
Among these six free titles for April, Drawn To Death, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom all have Platinum trophies. Of these, Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom is by far the easiest, and requiring only about 12 hours for the platinum. Also, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime isn’t too challenging for average players, with about 15 hours of gaming, while Alien Rage: Extended Edition shares about the same amount of difficulty, with roughly 10 hours of gaming to unlock 100% of the trophies.
